Thread: Jerks

My son's are acting like total jerks lately..

The 17 year old has been making a habit of going to school an hour late the past month and I am tired of it. I warned him if he keeps pulling this crap I am yanking his network card. Guess what I have in my pocket right now? And guess who has a game tournament tonight?.. Oh well..

I am sick of it... His grades are in the shizzer as it is and him pulling this crap just shows me how he is not as "grownup" as he thinks he is..

The younger jerk got a note sent home with him because he is throwing erasers in class. And I just got the got this morning..WTF? So I asked him if he was still a baby because babies throw things.. I went off on him this morning because I am just sick of this crap.. I don't ask for much from them and it seems like they can't even do the simple shiz I ask them to do. All I want is good grades, not get in trouble at school, keep your room clean and not act like a jerk..

And telling their fathers doesn't do a damned thing anyway b/c my oldest's father is set on being his friend and not his dad.. The youngest's father is a total tool and doesn't see him often enough to make a difference. I got a phone call from him yesterday and the last I had heard from him was in July, and haven't gotten CS since 2/20 but that's a different gripe... My dh is not around enough either since he works all week in MD.. So basically I am on my own....

I told them both I am seriously considering canceling Xmas because neither one of them deserve a damned thing with the crap that is going on.. Eff it, I'll just use the money to go to Mexico or somewhere I don't have to deal with ungrateful jerks...

And on top of all that crap, I finally slept good for once but now that I went off on the both of them I ended up getting a knot in my neck and I am hunching my shoulders which is not good... I am sick of stress related fibro flares and those 2 don't make it any better nor do I think they care..

you should see the stuff I take away when one of mine mess up, and my youngest is 17.

I suppose that we have spoiled our children by giving them the best that we can afford, but when they act like little azzholes or little byotches, those items are prime for revocation imo.

they are too old to spank, and the only thing that "hurts" them is the loss of their physical goods.

If she only took the network card, he should be thankful that I am not his mother -- because I would have yanked all his goodies.

I have been too nice.. My dh says I let them get away with too much crap. And he's right.

I do have to get tougher with them since their dads are a bunch of p'words.

I seriously need to put my foot down.

Her kids are acting like jerks. They aren't 3 years old, they are teenagers. In my opinion, ALL teenagers are jerks lol

If my sons are acting like jerks of course I am going to tell them so. What am I going to do? Sit there and let them treat me like a shlep? No. I am done with their 'tudes..

You're going a bit overboard with the names there... I said 'jerks' not aholes and biatches..

Yea, that. They sound exactly like typical teens to me. The phase where they think they know everything... totally expected and typical. My granny used to say "You can't put an old head on young shoulders."

Ain't that the truth!! I have a 20 yr old(not at home anymore, but still has jerkish moments!), 18 yr old, 13 yr old, and an 8 yr old!

ALL of them act like jerks occasionally (actually, quite often!!!) and I tell them so when they when they ask why something got taken away or cancelled, I just say "cause you've been actin' like a jerk!"
