My husband and i have talked about his options:
1. Radiation and Chemo
2. Surgery
3. Taking the temporary stent out and replacing it with a permanent one.
He has opted for the stent. This is a incurable cancer and this is what he alone decided and i will back him up 100%.
Now we are waiting for an appointment. Thank you all for your help and kind words. God Bless All Of You!

If he can even barely swallow try constant comment tea. It REALLY REALLY helps.

I agree, tea has many many good health benefits to the body. I prefer and recommend Yogi tea, in particular the super antioxidant green tea. It helps to rid the body of free radicals which cause cancer to begin with.
I'm not promoting this man's tea in any means, but he has a good explanation of the effects of green tea in the system.

Also, white tea is a natural antibiotic. Celestial Seasonings makes one called Perfectly Pear that's pretty good. A book that I recommend reading is "The Answer to Cancer" by Hari Sharma, M.D. His book goes is about natural methods for prevention through diet, de-stressing and detox but those same principles can still be applied to help fight the cancer itself.

They definitely get expedited. (My hubby works for SSA and he handles all congressional inquiries. He says if you are having a problem with ANY federal agency...don't waste your time arguing with them. Go straight to your congressman.)
Good luck.
I agree with this and your family will be remembered in my prayers.

My DH has GERD, and, they have wanted to put that camera down in his belly... he won't do it. He doesn't have any symptoms, they just wanted to check his esophagus before they started him on meds (it was 'the purple pill ).
Anyway, his Doc told us then that, like you stated in your post, there is no cure for esophageal cancer. And that scared me big time !
I just don't know what to say... you are in my prayers, and, I hope for you the very best. I hope you take this time together and make the most of it... we are ALL going to 'go', just some go before others.
You both have sooooo many decisions to make right now... you seem brave, and, 'in the know' to me...
I fully understand what a HUGE deal this is... peace, calm and hope to you both.
