I personally think it takes time to get to know folks on any message board. Give it time, speak up, let folks see your personality. I have 3 older sisters and for years when we got together they chatted amongst themselves. I really felt left out! They love me and that wasn't their intention. Well, I finally figured out that instead of sitting back and feeling sorry for myself, (remember folks, this post is only about me) I needed to jump in...butt in, speak up, have my say. Since I began to do that I don't feel so left out.
Different people have different relationships depending on personalities. Just like Hippiechic says, "Sometimes people reply, sometimes they don't. Some people like you, (general 'you') and some don't....just like real life. That's how forums usually work. You can't be so thinned skinned that you let it get to you very much."
