Thread: Mc Donalds

Ugh. I went to my mom's on Monday and the kids wanted Happy Meals. I never get them ever, fast food is just icky (unless I am pg, then I live there) but my mom has this whole "there are no rules at grandmas house" so she bought them. My son had chicken nuggets and apples. This was at noon. At 2pm he started vomiting and screaming and pointing at his belly saying "booboo". It was horrible. So I took them home and he just came in and laid on Caitlyns floor in his room and cried. So, I thought maybe it was the heat (we were swimming for 2 hours) and tried to give him tylenol. He immiedatly started throwing up and screaming. So, I called the dr and the dr said he could have heat stroke and to get him to the ER asap. So, I called my MIL (whole other vent) and brought my daughter over there and then went to the er with him. My poor baby. He sat on my lap for 2 hours in the waiting area whining, putting his head on my chest and throwing up. The nurse came out and gave him a bucket and a little baby johnny and gavem e a new shirt because I was covered in throw up. I finally got in to see the ped on call and he gave him a popsicle...3 minutes later he was throwing up all over again. So, they gave me another new shirt, johnny pants and a pair of clogs because I was covered AGAIN. He looked to pitiful just laying on the bed so small, whining. The dr gave him some drug under his tongue to stop the nausea and they gave him another pop. This time he kept it down, thank god. He checked himn out and came to the conclusion that he had food poisoning! He, of course, couldn't say for certain because he was the only one who got sick. He said if we ALL had chicken nuggets and we ALL got sick then it would be 100% certain, but he was the only one so he could just point in that direction.
We were there from 5 until 11pm. I called my ******* soon to be ex to let him know and he was being an ass and hung up on me. Ugh I am so happy he is almost out of my life..to not even care your kid is in the er? Anyway. The pill they gave him worked and we went home and he slept all night and all day yesterday he kind of just laid on the couch and didn't play, but he kept everything down I gave him. Only one bout with the poops too. Today he is much much better and back to his old self but I am still so pissed at McDonalds!
