Why does it take so long for points to clear at Mypoints?
I go to my account page & it says I have this many points but actually when I look on the manage my acct page it says less. They say over 300 points are still pending & have been for almost 3 wks.
I received the points through bzzagent & email click thrus only. I am very new to mypoints & only did because of bzzagent.

I think it usually takes them about a month to credit. I love MyPoints. Been with them for years. Their 5 points emails really add up, too.
I am extraordinarily patient, provided I get my own way in the end.

Also you need to have proof you bought something so keep all your email, etc when you make a purchase. Sometimes they will post without you having to prove you bought something but more than not you will need the confirmation. At least I have to.
Go into the contact email in your account where they have the company and ask why you have not received your pts yet and if you will. I have to email them many times for pts.

If you go to your acct page then click on "last 3 months", it should say for how long your points are pending.
They mail out gift cards real fast!

I don't mind them holding onto points for 30 days or whatever it is before they credit. They have always worked this way, not just since the merge with Buzz. MYpoints has been GREAT to me and I cash out there more then any other place I belong to. Sometimes just from emails, although that takes awhile but also I make sure to shop thru them. Rewards come VERY fast, usually within a week or so.

I love mypoints as well. I have cashed out 3 $50 gift cards and am about ready to cash out another. The vast majority of those points were earned by simply clicking on the 5 point e-mails. A few of them are earned through purchases with partnered vendors. The 5 point one receives from the e-mails are posted almost immediately. The points you receive through other vendors, i.e., purchasing flowers at 1-800-Flower, can sometimes take quite a while. I was told that it is because they are waiting confirmation from that vendor and that they are not always on top of that (the vendor...not mypoints.)
Anyway...it is a good site. I wasn't aware that they had partnered with BuzzAgent (whom I hate). I hope that doesn't wreck this site.

I love, love, love MyPoints. I got a MyPoints Visa card and get points every time I use it for all my purchases. I usually cash out for a $50 gas card every couple of months. Woo hoo!

I know that in most cases thay have to allow for whatever the vendor's return policy time is. That way you don't order, get your points, and return the merchandise. So if the vendor has a 30 day return policy, it could take that long, and then a few weeks for the vendor to report to mypoints. I love mypoints, and have cashed out numerous gift cards. I usually use them as Christmas gifts, plus I earn more points buying gifts through partner sites. The click thru's add up quickly.
