This is where being in a church family and getting premarital counseling is so important. They will probably do whatever they want but still it stops them enough to think about the step they are about to take. I wish them well whatever happens.

My sister got married the year she graduated. She was a few months shy of her 18th birthday. She'll be married 39 years this August and has 2 wonderful daughters and great sons-in-law and 7 grandchildren!! Proof that sometimes a "young marriage" can work!! BTW, my parents married when dad was 20 and mom 19. They have 4 children, 7 grands and 12 great-grandkids and they just celebrated their 57th anniversary in June!!!
