    Unhappy Today is my mom's birthday

    Thanks. I am sure she would if she was still with me, but I know she was watching and probably laughing at my girls acting just like me at their age.

    I'm sure she was right there with you in spirit. On my mother's birthday I usually go to a movie, her favorite restaurant.....two things she loved to do with her daughter on her birthday. On mine we usually went to Vinton, LA. to the casino.

    Good for you for doing something special for your mother. Hope you enjoyed yourself.

    They may not physically be here with us but they'll always be in our hearts and minds.

    Yeah I caught a few, the kids drove me crazy and I got sunburned. But all in all, it was nice.

    Mabby, I am so sorry you are sad.

    I hope you took this great oppourtunity to tell your kids stories about their Grandmaw.

    I hope no one minds me adding this but I think it is very important to tell your little ones about family members who left either before they were born or left when they were too young to remember. I didn't have the pleasure of meeting one of my Grandmaws but things told to me by family members and friends have made her very alive and well known to me.
