I agree it is going to take a little time. Little baby just has to get used to a loving family.
We got our doggie sam from the shelter, he had been dropped off at someones home. When we first got him you could tell he had been abused. He would flinch and jump at everything. Now we just about have to pick him to to move him LOL BTW he is a yellow lab, thinks he is a lap dog.

Update
The poor little thing was still having nothing to do with us as of today. I went to the store after work, and there was her picture on a "missing" poster. I called the number and the lady described the little girl to a T. It turns out that she had gotten the dog from a yorkie rescue and the poor little thing had been a kennel dog used for breeding. The woman said she had only had her for six months and she was just now getting her to respond to her. The woman only lives four blocks from us. She cried when she saw her. I am so glad she has a loving home now, but I'm going to miss her cute little face.

I am glad that the little doggie had a good person to take care of her and I am sure her owner is even happier about it. Glad she is home with her mommy again

I am so glad that her owner was a loving woman who missed her baby, that is wonderful that she got back to her forever home, God Bless you! P.S why can't you go visit her and bring her treats/toys since she only lives a few blocks away?

My sister has a little Yorkie. They can get out so easy. They are small and go out behind you when you open the door and you don't even know they are there.
Her husband went out and the dog followed him. He didn't even see him. He went to the neighbors but wouldn't let them pick him up so they came to my sister's house with the dog following. They said the dog came over there and they were bringing him back.
