I know in theory it sounds good, but if your running low it could cause you an nsf fee which would totally decimate any "savings" you would get from their promotion. It doesn't matter if your over by a few cents or $20 dollars or more. The $35 charge is still the same.

I hope you get it straightened out as well, that would piss me off if they did that, but I can't see that it wouldn't be easy to reverse or stop your enrollment in it. Believe me I know the funds being tight ordeal and I am very careful as to make sure I don't overdraft either, but if I know the money isn't there I don't use the card $35 is a lot everytime you go over I hope your day gets better
If you don't want dumb answers, don't ask dumb questions

I can completely understand your problem. My husband had similar issues with that at Bank of America and then they could never get his address right or find his account, it always went to his fathers address who he never see's. Needless to say we went last week to Bank of America and waited to talk to the lady for over an hour to sign the paperwork for 5 minutes to close the account and move the money to another bank. So I understand your frustration. Good luck, with your pregnancy

I love B of A and the keep the change program is awesome. You save up so much withour even realizing it! I have 5 accounts with B of A and they have always done right by me BUT I agree if they enrolled you without consent that was wrong. Its easy to click wrong when you are online doing banking though and enroll.
Be who you are and say what you feel, those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.

They did this to my husband. They called here offering the program and he asked them to mail him info about it. Next time he logged on he saw they enrolled him without consent. This just added to the reasons I hate BoA!

I called and they took it off my account. Overall it wasn't that difficult to do but it just ticked me off that I had to call and be put on hold for more than 10 minutes to get them to change something they shouldn't have done in the first place. When things get a little better I might enroll in the program but I kind of like being more in control of where my money goes. Thanks for all the well wishes. I am extremely frustrated being "post date" and with this being my third child. They have scheduled me to be induced Tuesday morning (if I don't go before then). At this point I doubt I will. These Braxton Hicks contractions are really getting on my nerves.

BOA is EVIL with a capital E!!!! I had a "supposed friend" use my BOA credit cards wthout my consent however BOA did not want to hear that. Not one of those charges were signed by me. I am still speechless as to how restaurants could take a credit card that was issued in a female's name & have it signed by a male with and still accept it.
BOA told me I had to sue this person for the charges but I am still liable. So if I am having trouble making the monthly minimum payment so explain to me how I am going to be able to afford an attorney to be able to sue him.
Insanity is hereditary. You get it from your kids.

There are attys who will go after companies that use unfair/unlawful collection processes, I'm not sure if they would be interested in your case or not, but it would not hurt to get a free consultation with one & see if you have any recourse. If they sue them & win, the charges would be off your account, they would have to pay you some $$, and they would be responsible for paying your attorney. I would also suggest that you contact a consumer advocate group in your area & request help. Even many of the local news stations & newspapers have people who go out and advocate for consumers. I would not just take the word of someone at B of A - because they will always choose the path of least resistance.
Good luck & please fight those charges.

my bank recently was bought out and changed to Bank of America and I already hate it. It seems to be one thing after another with that bank since. Guess I will have to find a new bank soon
