Thumbs down OMG! How can gas jump $0.30 in 48 hours??

Okay I know that they are taking advantage of us now! Come on this is BS! Our gas her just raised $0.30 in just 48 hours! I wake up at 4:30am & yesterday morning it jumped $0.10 now I'm out the door & its another $0.20!

What gets me more is that the gas companies are showing record profits!

And they will continue to do this until we get Bush out of office....don't forget, he owns oil fields and is reaping those profits you always hear about!

Some of the gas stations here have gas at $4.19 & then you go a few blocks away and the gas is $3.95 or less.

I know the feeling. We filled up Wedn. before noon for $3.61., Drove past the same station at 10 that night & it was $3.69. Don't know what it is this morning.

Its getting pretty hairy out there! It really is................

AMEN!!! You said a mouth full. All I can say is thank you Mr. Bush...lol. Our gas is $3.85 a gallon getting tired of paying those prices thats for sure. It costs me $63.00 to fill up...now that is wrong and should be illegal. I am sure they don't care but how are people suppose to make it when most struggle anyways??? Greed is a horrible horrible thing.

I think Bush is making a killing it's gone up now 400% since he's been in office, and it does not look like he is trying to do anything about it. I think the oil co.'s should have to pay a windfall tax, I saw a clip of them on the news during the hearing and the one that answered about the profits said with a sh!t eating grin that they "reinvest" it, yeah right.

Bad news though, the analysis people are predicting that the price at some time will go up to $200 a barrel, if it does it means $7.00 a gallon, I can't afford gas now if it goes that high I have two options: 1. Be like my Amish neighbors and use a horse and buggy. or
2. Have my neighbor and her G-ma car pool with me so we can at least get groceries.

Yeah, if it keeps going up, then we're going to have to look into carpooling or something. Crappy thing is that where we live, we aren't really close to anything, except a stop and pay double store (convenience store), so walking isn't really much of an option.

I just checked and gas starts at $3.79 and goes up around here. Our Safeway stores have it for $3.84 plus if you spend $50 or more at their store buying groceries, you can get a 10 cents off a gallon savings...so that would make it $3.74

Tell me about it Jenefer I'm in the country, 4 miles to the main road that takes you to town, then another 8 from there, there is nowhere to walk to.
