Even though Bf has a hyundai that gets about 35 mpg I have to fill it up twice weekly because ti is 10 miles to work 10 miles back 5 days a week and then it is 25 to 30 to any stores either direction.. Heres the solution get the oil tycoon out of office get someone who is goin to help us even if it is lowering the prices a little as long as they go down not up!For petes sake.

I just want to say THANKS MR. BUSH for helping me realize that if it has something hangin between its legs the thing between its ears does not function proper.
Really?Thats probably not the smartest thing you have done today...HUH?

I just knew it would go up for the Memorial Day weekend! That's why I filled up on Wednesday, for over $60! And the oil companies are reporting record-breaking profits . . . . duh! They're gouging us, and Bush and Co. are allowing it!

I live in the middle of nowhere. Its 30 miles to the grocery store from my house. Everything is atleast a half hour away. Gas shot up to $4 a gallon here and I know that its going to kill me. My car gets about 35 mpg but its still so damn expensive just to go to the store. By the time I put gas in, it cuts WAY down on the money I have for groceries. With four kids, I need food in my house! I'm considering moving by my dad where everything is pretty much within walking distance. The only problem is finding a job there. *Sigh* I can't seem to win! To make matters worse, I have to drive 190 miles one way for my sisters wedding in two weeks. I can't miss that! My kids and I are all standing up in it. I'm ready to scream. Not that it would do much good!

I'm just kicking myself for not filling my 22 gallon tank the other day.
I really didn't have the time to fill up; had to get back home quick.
It was $3.60, down .05 from 2 days before.
I found out last night when hubby came from work it was $3.76
My tank is still empty and I hate to see what it is up to today.

All my gas cans in the garage are empty too. I used the last of it to fill the mowers so we could cut the lawn.

Its almost 3.90 here and of course none of our vehicles get good mileage We have a 3 big work vans for our buisness and we can only afford to have one of them on the road. Im getting scared, if it keeps going up, I dont know what will happen to our buisness.

Gas here went up .25 the other day. the week prior was .25 and the week before that it was .30. So in the past 3 weeks we have seen a .80 per gallon increase. I have pretty much just come to accept whatever the price is - I hate it but I can't control it.

Just keep hoping there isn't any major Gulf hurricanes this year., or we'll be seeing $6 a gallon.
