I went through so much with my in-laws and really feel sorry for you. Glad I'm divorced. Happy Birthday to your daughter!

I'm sorry this is happening to you. I empathize. My parents used to do it to my kids.....First they started out doing EVERYTHING for my oldest, and nothing for my youngest. My oldest was the first grandchild....But I told them the minute my youngest realized what was going on---they would NEVER see either of them again. It's a wonder my brother still speaks to me, because they ignored his kids totally. And that hurt me for the niece and nephew. But anyway, then it switched to my parents couldn't do anything for ANY of the grandkids, because they have church stuff to do. Im sorry you are dealing with it too. Finally, we quit inviting, and that way no hassle, and no hurt feelings...just us making an even more special day for the kids.

I know what you are going through. My MIL lived right across the road for most of our marriage. We have been married for 9 years , she lived there for 8 of them She met this really nasty perv online and moved in with him. This woman is a piece of work, she acted like she was interested in our first childs life. Then it changed where she didn't come to any party's or anything for the kids. Sometimes she didn't she them for months at a time. I stopped worry about her and just didn't bother asking her to anything for my kids. Then she started telling anyone who would listen is that her son or I never invited her to the kids birthday parties. That was the biggest lie . Anyway I am sorry that you have to go through this because it is really hard on the kids.
