    Angry I hate my job

I've been with my company for 15 years and I transferred departments 6 months ago and came to the call center as a Lead over one business unit. I truely feel like everyone up here hates me and my team. They weren't happy that our business unit was transferred to their call center. Well, today was the icing on the cake. A leadership council was created with all the supervisors and the leads (excluding me) a couple of weeks ago (I had no idea!). Today the leadership council held "Group Project" meetings with everyone in the call center (again excluding me) to create team building amoungst the business units (apprearantly there's a riff between their business unit and my business unit - who knew?!?!) Why was I not included in the "GP" meetings? Because it's for the call center staff, not the leads (I was told that one of my team members asked that in her meeting). Why was I not included on the leadership council when all the other leads were?????

I'm trying to get into the Call Center Supervisor's office to have a brief chat about this.

I went to the supervisors office and asked why I was the ONLY person in the call center that wasn't invited to the GP meetings. She apologized, said it was just an oversight then said that the other Leads were supposed to have gotten with me to get me involved in the Leadership council. She also said she was going to have a talk with them about it, which I requested she not do. They aren't that fond of me as it is. About an hour later, the Leads came to me (all together) and apologized and said that the supervisor NEVER told them to invite me or they would have. I thanked them for the apology and said that it was alright and that it doesn't really matter anymore as I understand mistakes and oversights happen. No big deal.
Still fuming on the inside though!!!

Can you transfer? I am not familiar with your company at all, but maybe you can go to another department. What a bad situation, she shouldnt have confronted them like that because them then hostility is going to be directed to you, the "tattle tale" ((Not that I think you are, but when things go wrong, someone ALWAYS blames the person they are getting there nuts roasted about. I hope it works out. I hate my job too. Too much politics

I think you did the right thing. Let your supervisor & the other leaders see that you are willing to be professional. Going to the supervisor was the correct thing to do, hopefully the other leads will get their acts together.
    I hope things get better.
