He gives me a shot before the injections. It's kinda funny. They do the injections under xray. They let my husband stay with me as long as he wears the xray coat. Anyway, my husband said I kept asking the dr questions over and over again. They put my hair in a cap. I don't remeber any of it. He told the dr I was gonna try to remember everything. The doc grinned and said, "you think?" It's weird how I was wide awake, but can't remeber anything. Don't remeber the shots at all. You are kinda high for a couple hours, then you sleep for a couple hours. Weird. Thanks so much for all the warm wishes

lymi, it does byte getting older, the aches and pains.

I'm only 47, and, my neck is shot ! I have been hit by three cars in my life, while driving, the last being 1984. I had no idea I did any damage at the time, but, I sure know now. I wake from sleep all the time, from neck pain... I have occasional numbness in my left arm... serious headache very often etc... and I have many years to keep dealing with it. They said there is nothing they can surgically correct... at least the MRI and X-rays show that.

I never sued anyone who hit me... all their insurance did was repair my cars. Oh course, I didn't think I did any damage at the time.

I feel your pain.............. sorry you're dealing with that.

I had 4 rounds of the injections in my neck, didn't work so the neurosurgeon did surgery. It stopped the pain going down my arm and the numbness & tingling BUT...they had put a metal plate in there and screws because i had damaged nerves from a herniated disc and now i hurt worse than before they ever did the surgery. They sent me to pain mgmt and they are pushing narcotics for pain. Now they tell me after 2 surgerys that i have another one and want to do surgery again. I told that dr NO WAY!! Now hurting worse than from the very begining i told the dr that it hardly seemed woth it now. I don't need anymore pain AND all these narcotics i don't like either. Not to mention a real large ugly nasty scar across the front of my neck, it looks like someone cut my throat. Guess i just made that neurosurgeons lexus payment for him.

Old age?! Looking at your picture, you look so young! Anyhow, sorry you're going through all the problems. Wish there was a simpler solution for you.

I feel your pain sister. I have severe neck/shoulder and back problems. And my legs are really starting to give me problems. they hurt so bad. My mri's don't show with anything however. Ihave asked for the dye and they won't do it!! I have a problem with my left arm. I am on 8 diff. meds and they don't really give me much relief. I sometimes take my fil's meds. His are alot stronger and they don't always help, my pain gets that bad. Its like doctors don't understand the pain. till they live a day in yours shoes.
We have ins. albeit CRAPPY. But the injections i have had makes my neck WORSE! I have tried chiropractor, acupunture, phyisical therapy. you name it i have tried it. the more they mess with my neck etc. they worse it gets.
try to feel better, i understand eTC. how you feel.
