    So sorry for your loss.
Keep your hands to yourself, leave other people's things alone, and be kind to one another.

    Tasha,
I'm so very sorry for the loss of your fur-baby. I don't understand how some people can be so cruel and not care when they take a life. We still never found the bit$h who ran down our cat Mustafa. I believe in Karma and what goes around comes around.

I totally agree with this, after we adopted our cat from the humane socitey we starting getting what we call kitty coventions in our yard, about 7 or 8 cats in our yard, just meowing and hanging around in a circle, it kind of looks like they are having a meeting. lol.

In fact this morning my son witnessed some kitty loving lol, that opened up a whole different can of worms lol.

but these cats don't bother us at all, we have never been mean to them and just let them be. they usually just break up and go there separate ways after a little while.

Our cat is an inside cat but has gotten out, we were lucky because he has always came right back.

I am so sorry for your loss and I'm sorry you and your kids had to see that.

I'm so sorry you and your kids had to go thru that. How horrible, especially for them. I know how it feels to lose an animal, so you have my sympathy. (And don't worry about thoughtless comments; just ignore them.)

That's why I urge people to keep their cats "indoors." You wouldn't allow your kids to run out on the street...why do it with your pets??? You can teach your kids the dangers of the road but your furbabies rely on you keep them safe.

I am sorry for the loss of your cat.

I must be an oddball by some standards. I slow down if a bird fly's in front of me. I've squealed tires to avoid hitting squirrels. (I swear the commercials have that one right and they high five each other after.) I just couldn't handle it if I hit an animal. Maybe I'm too compassionate.

No, tell them the truth. When I was little, my cat died and my father buried her without ever telling me. I went outside and called for my cat for days and days before my mother finally told me what actually happened. I was mad at her for not telling me the truth and letting me call and call for her. I would like to have been there when he buried her.
Insanity is hereditary; you get it from your kids.
