You know, at times I wish they would require reciepts.

DH's EX would biotch and moan about not having money to
pay bills so utilities would constantly be cut off. Her
mortgage company would call me constantly looking for
her payment ( she had used DH as a reference, stupid her).
But, during all of this, she would be getting her nails done,
her hair done and have that infamouse Florida tanning salon
tan. I had been at the house to pick the kids up on many
occations where she would have just cashed the child support
check and hand the kids the money. She makes me sick.

if the children were living without utilities your dh could have def done something about that. did he? i know no court would allow a child to live in a house without electric and water when child support was being paid and/or the other parent had utilities. did the woman work?

We live just over an hour away from her and the kids. Yes DH would call the social worker, they would get back to us and say " We are giving her a chance to get things situated and review her at such and such date". By the time she would go through the review she would have begged, borrowed or hooked (sorry but thats what she is known for) to get the money. I swear she has slept with anyone and everyone. Those that seem to be the worst always get away with crap. I have always said , she will get it one day.
