went to the Walmart Vision Center in March and the optometrist examined my eyes and I got a new pairs of lenses. Had them less than a week before I had to return them. (I knew I would have to return them before I left the store but thought I would give them a chance.) Anyhow, a different optometrist examined my eyes and wrote a different new prescription. I put the glasses on and had to sit down before I fell over, that's how bad the new prescription was. I couldn't even give them a try because I couldn't even see well enough to drive home. I had them put in my old lenses and when I put my old glasses on, I couldn't see! Told her the lenses must have been switched. She told me that the person in charge said it was correct but she took them and reversed my lenses and I could see. I got a refund for the lenses and left thinking there might be something physically wrong with my eyes.

Opthamologist saw me, looked in my eyes, said there was nothing wrong. I asked him why I couldn't see. He says, "I don't know." (dummy) I didn't ask him to recommend someone who MIGHT know but left instead. Went to the glaucoma specialist with hubby, described my problem to him and he'll see me this coming week and we'll find out if there is anything physical wrong with my eyes or at least maybe find out why in hell I can't see for sh*t! *Grumble* This is my vent for the year!

I have wore glasses for about 25 yrs and I had one pair that I just could not even put on with out feeling funny and sick so I took them back and told them that these are just not right and they looked at them and said they was cut wrong,like on and angle ....all I knew is that they made me so sick just putting them on

That's exactly how my second pair of lenses affected me! It could be that the reason they didn't work is that they didn't cut them right. But to do it twice with 2 different prescriptions. Maybe they have someone new working in the lab because I've always been satisfied with the glasses they've made me. I've worn glasses for nearly 50 years and have never had problems like this. Well, I'll know more this coming week, one way or another.

I just ordered a pair from 39dollarglasses.com last night. I've never used the site before, but I need new glasses badly and we have no insurance of any kind and I can't afford $300 for glasses. Hopefully they'll turn out well. On their website you can print out a picture of the glasses you like and it'll be the exact size of the actual glasses so you can see how big/small they are. Also, there's a coupon out right now for $10 off (EMSP10) so my glasses came to $34.95 shipped.

I got the glasses for my son in 5 days. They are great!

I got my glasses from 39dollarglasses.com today. They are awesome! They are the same size the website said they'd be and the prescription is perfect! Awesome and only $34.95 shipped! OH, and did I mention it's been 10 years since I had a new pair of glasses?!

what do you do get your exam done at the drs. and then ask for your perscription and then just get on line with 39dollar and give them your prescription
