cpbaby,
My thoughts are with you. I'm going thru the same thing pretty much. My mother passed away a year and a half ago. Brother and I had to go thru probate. Brother wouldn't do ANYTHING TO HELP THE SITUATION.
At this stage I was made the executor of my mom's "estate". Still a heartache but it has to be done. No help from my "sibling" either. It's all left up to me.
I truly know what you're going thru. It's not easy.....just a bump in the road of life at the moment. It will pass.
BTW: My brother was always a "momma's boy".....he can't deal with the fact she's gone and what needs to be done. Maybe a southern thing....I'm still sitting on the fence.
Many thoughts and hugs to you.

I'm sorry that you were offended by my comments. I wasn't worried so much for your safety...more so for your DH. You said "my DH is so hateful I want to kill him... I've been through anger management counseling because I'm "hardwired" that way too. I also didn't know the history of the furniture. You just sounded like you were so p'od that you got stuck with it. It's great to have something passed down if you can use it. I used to be on Zoloft too and perhaps you're right. Maybe you should see your doctor about this. Anyway, I wish the best for you and your family to find some "peace of mind." Take care, and again, no offense intended.

Oh for petes sake! I guess you have never used the phrase "Im gonna KILL (insert name)" before? I was venting about the difficulty he was finding in finally facing his mother's death and that our 4 yr old wasnt sleeping. (ok, she never sleeps through the night) and that, as the wife/mother, I got to deal with the fallout of each. Since this is the VENT/WHINE forum, I sorta assumed I was allowed......
