That's terrible! If it makes you feel better (or at least chuckle) I have been waiting for knobs for my stove for 10 months! I have 1 knob that I use for all the burners and I am COMPLETELY unable to use the stove, I have microwave dinners for Hubbie and the Kids but I just eat whatever! Thank goodness I was raised with a love of toaster ovens or I would be screwed. Yeah I could buy knobs but why should I!

Just an FYI type thing, you could always buy the knobs, deduct it from the rent and place a COPY of the reciept in in the rent envelope. Theres nothing illegal with that.
The only thing is you have to give them enough time to fix it themselves, which 10 months is more than enough.

reminds me when we rented a place for a couple of months and we had a sink hole in the kitchen and when I showed the landlord he said well its against the wall guess ya can walk around it huh??? That day we went out looking to buy a home lol
