I get so sick of this....

I just took in 2 more kids today that were taken into police custody early this morning. Parents were running a meth lab and I was shown the pictures of their living conditions...absolutley appalling.

Gorgeous little 4 yr old girl with a ton of blonde curls and a 7 yr old boy who is adorable too. WHY OH WHY do these people even have kids.

They have no clothes, broken shoes and filthy dirty...well they WERE. They are so cute and cuddly now, I hope they can stay for awhile.

Thanks everyone...the best thanks anyone could give me is to become a foster parent yourself. Like gobs says, the system wears you out. I am a new foster parent and I have had so many emergency placements already because there is such a lack of homes. Open your hearts and your homes to these kids if you can.

I swear I want to do this when my home and health becomes a tad more stable. My cousin is doing this as well, and my aunt and uncle were foster parents for a very long time.

I think that people like you are wonderful, angels here on earth. Some people aren't fit to own a dog, much less a child. I wish the system would start punishing these people more severly.

that's so sweet of you do to that. I see unfit parents everyday and it breaks my hearts for the children. I mean if they will do such things in public, what do you think they do behind closed doors?

You sure are a angel. I have consided doing foster care, I have to elderly lady's that I keep 24/7. I talked to a friend that is a Social worker, she said that I could not do foster care. She says I would get so attached, and would worry my self to death, after they left. How do you let go, when they have to leave? Do they let you keep in touch with them? I know sometimes they go back to their parents, how do you deal with that? God bless you for being a wonderful person, opening your home and heart.
