Gas Prices!
Gas is $3.60 here!!!!! It just went up 2 hours ago!!!!
What the heck is going on??
I am sooooooooo sick of gas going up. I can't make my budget stretch any further. I drive my 3 boys in three different schools to school every day. I live 7 miles out of town. If the buses ran out here I would have the boys ride the bus but they don't. I drive into town 4 times a day. That is 28 miles a day! I make sure that all of my errands are done around this time also so that I am not wasting gas. I only am able to allot myself $45 a week to go back and forth to town to get the kids. and that didn't even fill my gas tank and I have a car!!!! oh and not to mention that we have baseball games and practice just about every single day so that is another trip to town.
I know that Memorial Day is around the corner, but honestly does that really mean that they have to raise the gas prices??????????
I have no clue what the heck I am going to do when I go and get a job this summer. I can't even afford to get a job. and daycare and the kids want to go to summer day camp. and that is only $12 for the whole summer but I have to take them there and pick them up. UGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!
I think I am going to faint at the pump!!!!!!!
and I don't have much a choice to fill up I am close to empty.
Ok thanks for listening!
If you hear on the news about a woman fainting at the pump in Michigan you will know it was me..............................

Re: Gas Prices!
Its sickening that they are allowed to raise the gas to this high amount. I don't buy into shortages, problems or whatever. They just want more money and they know we "have" to have gasoline and they can charge whatever they want. When is rich enough, rich enough???
The more you complain, the longer God makes you live.

Re: Gas Prices!
believe it or not gas here was $3.07 yesturday and this morning back down to $2.98. but I bettcha that it will jump up to about $3.10 or more next time it is raised. I drive a 04 2500 crew cab silverado...I filled it up this morning and spent $60 but luckily I usualy only drive into town once a week for groceries. We were going to buy a dump truck ( thats what my husband does ) and thank goodness we changed our minds, we would be broke just paying for the fuel.
By the way...does anyone have credit cards that give you discounts for gas? I have the walmart discover and you get 3 cents off per gallon...it is reflected on the bill

Re: Gas Prices!
if you buy a walmart gift card and use it at the pump you can get 3 cents off also. but the nearest walmart for me is 15 miles from my house, so it would cost me more to drive there to get gas. Unless I was already making a trip out there. Basically I live between here and there.. lol

Re: Gas Prices!
With me being unemployed i havnt been using my car that much which is helping me save on gas but its getting close to me having to go visit the pump and our gas is 3.35. I bet it will take one of my checks to fill my car up.I was talking to friend of my dad's the other day & we got to talking about the gas price's. He was telling me when he was young it was like 10 cents a gal. Oh to have them prices now a days lol.

Re: Gas Prices!
It cost me almost $50 to fill up my car. That is twice what it used to cost. I have a freaking car, it should not cost that much. We were going to actually go on a vacation this summer but I'm rethinking that now. I filled up on Friday and it was at $3.36. The government needs to do something. This is ridiculous.

Re: Gas Prices!
We can all thank our wonderful government for placing ridiculous restricions on building new refineries. The problem isn't a shortage of oil, it's a shortage of refineries. You'll also see your local prices skyrocket if there's a fire or some sort of problem with a local refinerie.
Lowest I've seen it here is $3.50. It cost me $50 last night to fill up.
So make sure you send your favorite elected official a thank you note for making gas prices absurd.

ITA!
I was watching the news earlier and it showed a woman changing the gas prices on a sign outside of a gas station and she changed $3.19 to $3.49.
That's a HUGE jump in prices!
I've heard that gas prices will be $4.00+ a gallon this summer. This is just down right crazy!!
