Unhappy Re: The "Crocodile Hunter" Died

This is so sad My prayers and thoughts is with his family and friends. I just feel bad for those children he has. I am not sure on their age but that's got to be very ruff on them regardless of age. His wife was real loving wife I just feel so sad for her as well. I just hope Steve didn't suffer.

his kids are 8 and 3, and this is a serious blow, he was not only a great educator, but a great environmentalist and lover of animals...Reports that I've seen so far said he died instantly.. I am so sadden, my thoughts and prayers go out to his family, Terri Bindi and Bob, but also his most trusted friends, Wes Mannon and all his employees at Austrailia Zoo..he will be very sadly missed

I was just gonna come over her and tell the board too. I am so sad. He was not just a person that was on TV but a good guy. I saw him on tv interact with his kids and I can tell he was a great Dad too. Those poor babies. I am really so sad and I know when hubby finds out he will be too.

I agree he seemed to be a very loving father and my prayers go out to him and his wife and family.

As I understand it his parents owned a zoo and he grewup handling animals.

I saw a few episodes he seemed to care very deeply for his wife and kids.

He was even right there in the delivery room with his wife was having his kids.

Very shocking to see that he passed like that. Loved watching his shows! He always had me on edge watching them. He tried to help out the environment and I think he will always be remembered for it. So sad. Feel so bad for his wife and children.

I was so looking forward to our trip to Australia zoo next May. I have always wanted to children to know how important this man was not only to animals, Australia, but the world. when my daughter was a tiny baby the only way I could make dinner was to put her in the bouncy seat watching and listening to Steve........we always figured it was because he has the same accent as daddy. I am still with bit of sadness looking forward to our visit to Australia Zoo because I owe it to my kids to show them what this man has done with his life

man i can not believe it, he has a son 3 years old, that won't have a father figure, and now no one will protect the australian animals from being hunted by tourists

    Re: The "Crocodile Hunter" Died

The other day my 11 yr old son encountered some boys torturing frogs and he actually got in a fight defending these frogs. Now, I don't promote fighting at all, but I was proud of him for caring! This fight was OK. I had to explain to another son that Steve would not blame it on the Stingray, it was acting naturally. Steve Irwin would want us all to take the time to teach our kids to respect all creatures we live with. God Bless Steve and his family. I think Bindi will definitly follow in her dad's footsteps. She's so much like him.
