Conterfeit coupons make me mad!
I had an experience this past weekend that still has me fuming! I use coupons all the time for my groceries. I use a lot of home printed coupons normally with no problems. I went to my local Walmart as usual and at the checkout line I was actually asked if I scanned or copied my coupons. I stated to the cashier, "No, I don't plan on going to jail just to save 50 cents off my peanut butter." She kinda grinned but actually read all of my working, legally attained coupons one by one. No problem......out of a stack of 25 coupons or so, ONE didn't scan correctly. She handed it back to me. I was like, if you don't use this I don't want the product. I showed her the correct product and she had to call the 20 yr old ast manager over to get his ok. He said, we don't take online coupons anymore. I informed him nicely that the majority of those coupons came off their WALMART site. The cashier and him spoke in another language for a moment which made me madder but I kept my cool...then he said since they all scanned except one I could use them. (how nice of him) I told him if not I would just go down the street to another store no problem. And they could put this basket of stuff away. The cashier took off the remaining coupon that wasn't scanning correctly for me. 20 yr old ast manager then informed me that the week before someone had brought in $9 off toilet paper coupons 15 of them and they were fake. I understand they don't want to lose money, but treating your costumers that do things the correct way like criminals is not the way to keep costumers coming back. And to the PEOPLE who use or copy coupons, I hope you get caught! Hope you know they (printed coupons) have codes on them telling your ip address and if you make multiple copies (scanned and copied, not printed legally) they (the Law) can find you and you can go to jail or have a fine. Shame on you for making the rest of us look bad. ok, I'm better now!

You might want to print this out and take it with you. It's from Wal Mart's corporate website........
http://corporate.walmart.com/coupon-policy
We gladly accept the following types of coupons*
Print-at-home internet coupons
Must be legible
Must have "Manufacturer Coupon" printed on them
Must have a valid remit address for the manufacturer
Must have a valid expiration date
Must have a scannable bar code
Buy one, get one free (BOGO) coupons with a specified price
Are acceptable in black and white or color
May not be duplicated

I would have said something to them about that. That's like talking about you behind your back. If they can't speak in English, then they shouldn't be saying anything at all.

I was having some problems with scanning my printed coupons at the self-checkout lane at the grocery store. Did a little troubleshooting, and realized that I had my default setting at 'Draft' - when I changed it to 'Normal' my problem pretty much cleared up. Used more ink, but it helps me save $$ for food shopping

Some may remember a few years back there were Dorito coupons going around, where you get them for FREE, because their normal price is $4.99 for the Family Size, and the coupon from smartsource.com was for $5.00 off. Forgot about the free cubes of Pepsi, another smartsource.com coupon.
If you were lucky to the pdf of that, it contained 6 coupons. Seems all the counterfeit ones are smartsource.com, not from coupons.com
Plus P&G stopped offering coupons. They had to come from the manufacturer, they were no longer available online.
Since then the odds of obtaining a coupon from PepsiCo do not exist.
Pepsi, Propel, Gatorade, etc., Lay's
If the coupon is too good to be true, its counterfeit.
One time I bought my coupons to the store, all scanned but one, it was on the light side, so I took it from the cashier, and brushed it with my hand, all the dust (print) blew right off. We laughed, I did mention I needed to change the toner. No wonder it didn't scan the toner wasn't bonded to the paper. Still funny.

And we all know how knowledgeable those Wal Mart cashiers are. lol
I doubt this is true......they have their own printable coupons posted on their website, and also have specific coupons for their store only, on various coupon sites.

Have you noticed there has been a lot of coupons with just Walmart on them. A few of my stores won't take those. They say they are only good at Walmart.
Of course, coupons.com got a nasty email, and so did the manufacturer. I'm not a Walmart shopper.
Don't forget about the Supervisors/Managers, just as...

Yes, I've noticed. Those are the ones I was referring to. (@ coupons.com).
No, other stores won't take them....they're specific to those stores when their logo is printed on them.
I'm not a WM shopper either. I despise that place.

If it say redeemable at Walmart in the top bar next to the exp date, then it's Walmart only.
If it has the walmart logo (redeemable at ), but has manufactures coupon in the top bar next to the exp, any store can take them. They are a manufacture coupon good anywhere.
I also hate Walmart, but I at times will go in there for a few things that Target just does not stock in my area.
