Parents Accused of Raping Baby Daughter


Two middle Tennessee parents are behind bars, accused of raping their one day old daughter. Police said John Wayne Goodrum, 19, and Kristina Sawyer,18, raped their daughter at the McKenzie Regional Hospital about 6 weeks ago.


Officials called police after noticing the child's injuries during a routine exam.

The baby girl is being cared for by a relative. Police are still investigating what role Kristina Sawyer played in the rape.
