Exactly! She has also had time to list more auctions as well. She has 3 more going right now.

I got a reply from her finally from the last e-mail I sent, and not only is she using her husband as an excuse again, this time she is blaming me for not making sure she knew I needed it shipped out right away!!!! I mean she is polite as all get out in her e-mail, but that doesn't change the fact that she didn't mail it out for 9 days, and was dishonest about the item and also she seems to have enough time to list more auctions.
Here is her reply to me:
HI, I have the tracking number...and im sorry i didnt get to you sooner however, my husband whom has been deployed overseas serving our country for over 7 months just arrived home in the past week so things were hectic, I do understand that you wanted your gift sooner, but I always encourage my buyers to let me know if they are under a time constraint just in case things like this come up...and certainly your moms bday would have been one of those situations...You prob already have the package by now...and this is the first chance Ive gotten to check my email since my husband has come home...so I hope you have...anyway, the tracking number is: ******************

thanks and again, Im sorry it took longer than expected...
hope you have a wonderful day!! God Bless and thanks again...

And here is what I said back:
    Jennifer,

9 Days was way to long to wait around to ship this item out. You have had plenty of time to ship it, because you had enough time to list other auctions. You should have been the one to notify me if you were having a problem shipping out this item regardless of the reason. I held up my end of the bargain and paid you promptly. There is no reason I should have had to contacted you to be sure you would ship out something I had already paid you for.

I might could even consider not being upset over this if you hadn't of been dishonest about the condition of this item. You stated in the auction under condition that this was in NEW CONDITION! You know as well as I do that it wasn't new. Don't try to deny it, because it was filthy! I had to use fantastic to get the scum off of the glass. The cord is filty with ground in dirt, It was also damaged in several spots.....I might would even believe that happened in shipping, except that I looked at the photo YOU had posted on your auction and seen one of the damaged areas today. So it was damaged when you sent it to me.

I'm now out $20.80 on this item because of the damage on it. It's a damaged collectable and it's basically worthless. I ought to file a complaint against you with PayPal, but I figure by the time I have to pay return shipping and they probably won't give me back the shipping cost I will be out even more. I still haven't completely ruled out filing the complaint though.

Glad to hear your husband made it home safely.

Does anyone know if I will get all my shipping back as well as the auction price if I do file a claim with PayPal? Because if they keep the shipping, which will end up being quiet a bit, I dont think it would be worth the trouble.

I am always skeptical so I did a search of the auctions she bid on and won, she won a total of (and I kid you not) 132 auctions during her "hospital stay".

Needless to say she got a negative from me and I mentioned her 132 winnings in the feedback to let her know I didn't buy her story. I figured why email her on it, just let everyone know
I guess they think no one can see through their little white lies. I know what you mean, it's pretty lame when they make up excuses just to get their way. I'm glad you didn't just blow it off, because maybe she will think twice now before pulling another stunt like that.

the one and only time i was late with an ebay payment, when i emailed them, i scanned and sent a copy of my hospital bracelet and my discharge orders from the hospital ( it was when i was in pre-mature labor with luke), telling them i understood if they wanted to leave bad feedback, and that i knew they had probably heard every excuse in the book. i needed them to know i wasn't lying, thats why i scanned and sent copies of those items, (with the proper areas blacked out), but was willing to accept the consequences for paying late.

It wasn't enough but she had to add, serving our country...LOL..what a crock. I would still file charges, based on principal alone.

You will get the money for the inital shipping, plus the item amount, but you will not get the money back for shipping it back to her.
