Exxon Mobil Top of Fortune 500 List
Thought you guys would get a kick out of this, Exxon Mobil ousts Walmart for top spot on Fortune 500 list.
http://articles.news.aol.com/news/ar...10%2e7&cid=403
Fortune compiled its list based on companies' 2005 revenues. Exxon Mobil raked in $340 billion in revenue, a 25.5 percent increase over 2004, and had $36.1 billion in profits,
the most by any U.S. company in history.
Hmmm... I thought the gas inflation wasn't their fault, they're not making any money or anything off of my $2.65 a gallon... I'm glad to see Walmart fall but not for this company.

Re: Exxon Mobil Top of Fortune 500 List
I don't begrudge them the profits . The oil companies have taken large losses in the past(remember the 80's and 90's) With the way the greenies are trying to keep forcing them to change their (and our) evil gas guzzeling ways a big honkin hunk of these and future profits will be going into R&D. Everyone complains about the prices but we must realize that we have been getting away with lower prices than almost anywhere in the world for a long time.
