a six block area was hit by a micro burst near me just after 1 am. They had 2 blocks taped off and there was no school in our grade school district yesterday because of it. it was like a bomb went off. Springfirld is just a mess. It seems noone was hurt though.

Karma is a wonderful thing, by me the nastiest lady had the most damage.

I dont know what damage there is yet, because we cant get back home till next week. I live in A small town about 5 miles north of Springfield, and I have heard and seen from the online paper here that there is no water, gas, or electric still at home. All my food in my fridge and freezer are ruined. No one else has a key for my house exept me. Its going to be a nasty mess. My hometown of Springfield was messed up so bad. The pics are depressing. My sister said there wasnt any damage to my house, but she only drove by. I dont know if there is roof damage or not.

I am still in Youngstown, OH and headed to Rhoade Island (sp?) My bf is a truck driver and I am riding with him for awhile. and they cant get us home right away. I am ready to take a plane if I had some money. I am hesitant to go home because this is the biggest disaster there since the ice storm of 1978 according to alot of ppl. Its depressing when your hometown is torn up so bad. I will try to keep everyone posted.

BTW I did hear from all 3 sisters. They luckily didnt have any damage. thanks all for thinking of me.

Good to hear everyone is OK. I was in Decatur that night. Fortunatly, the sirens only went off only once, unfortunatly, I was home alone in my Grandparents' house. Not fun. I have relatives in Springfield. They were all OK, too. The place is a mess. As of yesterday they still had areas without power. They said it was 2 F2 tornadoes in one night. 200 houses destroyed, 50 businesses destroyed and like 1500 homes/businesses damaged.
