female pains (adult)
i don't know if i ever posted about this, so i am going to give a brief explanation before i post my problem.
i went to the er in the morning in january 04 and ended up having emergency surgery that night. they removed a baseball sized cyst (that should have been detected by the quack dr i had been to, but that is another issue), as well as my right ovary and fallopian tube (which was 'broken'). i had severe endometriosis (again, undetected...), and they removed that as well. it had trapped my uterus and left ovary against my spine. (well, we finally figured out why by back hurt. )
i have had female problems since i started my period at age 11. after the surgery, i was told things would be normal and i wouldn't have all the pain. it could take up to 6 months to fully heal and all that good stuff, but by 6 month's end i'd be doing good. but i'm not.
i have been having sharp pains where my ovaries are/should be. the left one is a dull, throbbing ache, but on the right side i am getting these terrible, sharp, shooting pains. sometimes they actually make me double over. i can't stand on my right foot and it's not fun driving either. there isn't anything in the right side, so i don't know what it could be. i am fearing that i will have to visit a gyn that i don't have the money for and rack up a bigger medical bill. i'd rather be in debt that be dead though. the cyst i had removed would have killed me, and i'm scared i might be getting another. then again i could just be over-reacting to these pains. i keep telling myself that's all it is, to take some advil and rest when i can, but i've been really freaked out since the surgery. am i over-reacting, or should i get this looked at?

Work like you don't need money, love like you've never been hurt, And dance like no one's watching

Go get checked out and make sure it isn't a cyst or your endo acting up. Better safe than sorry. Wish you well with this.

Re: female pains (adult)
I had an emergency total hysterectomy(sorry about sp) seven years ago due to cancer. I sometimes get sharp stabbing pains where my right ovary used to be. When things are removed, your other organs will shift a little bit into the empty space. Maybe something to pushing on a nerve? You should get it chaecked out. Since money seems to be a big concern with you, checkaround where you live - most cities have clinics that charge on a sliding scale depending on what you make. Wishing you well on this!
Sometimes, the good you do doesn't do you any good.

Re: female pains (adult)
Could be adhesions too that are causing you discomfort.
See the doc again, dear.

Re: female pains (adult)
I agree, see your doctor. It could be the endo acting up, scar tissue from the surgery and many other things. I hope you're feeling better today! (((Hugs)))
