Cant find a cheap ethernet rrouter, I am so frustrated

I am so frustrated right now, I am intrested in getting Packet 8 which is a phone package through your internet DSL, it is $20 a month unlimited long distance within the united states and canada, they told me all I needed was an ethernet router, that they cost $30, priced them EVERYWHERE and cant find any under $60 which is way more then I can afford, start up cost would be $50 including first months and connection/shipping fee

Make sure there is a number from them in your area. I tried them and for anyone to call me it was long distance for them. I'm in smaller area and not to many choices for where I am. I did try them but with it being long distance for everyone to call me I cancelled the service. Return the Packet 8 box thing back to Tigerdirect, that is where I had bought it. Had my money refunded and packet 8 didn't charge me for the use of the phone calls I had made and recieved. If they get phone numbers in my area where it isn't long distance for people to call me then I might consider going back to them.

I just got DSL highspeed from Verizon, they sent me everything I needed for it.

yep! Thats what we have as well and the router came at no additional charge when we signed up. Of course if we want additional routers so we can have more than one of our computers online at the same time we need to purchase our own additional but they run as low as $50 at our Staples stores.

If you can not access Verizon for your phone then you can't use their DSL... I would love to have Verizon, but our only phone option is SBC.
