    Angry Time Warner SUCKS!!!!!!!!

    Do not read if you are easily offended because I am NOT in a good mood....

    Time Warner is installing digital phone lines in my area. Ok fine, good, cool whatever. Well both my cable AND internet was out Tuesday morning when I woke up. The cable came back on by that afternoon but my internet was still on the blitz. I kept calling and kept getting the same recording that there was an area outage and they would get it fixed as soon as possible. Well by Wednesday afternoon I was finally able to speak to a rep. She scheduled me an appointment for a tech to come out yesterday between 2:30 and 4:30. I pick my kids up early from school so I would be sure to be here when they came......The stupid inbred morons never freakin showed up!!!!! I called back AGAIN and told them that no one called and no one showed up. Well the guy told me that it showed that I called Wednesday and since there was a tech in the area he came out and checked the lines and fixed the problem. No you jerk, if the problem was fixed I wouldn't be calling and talking to you now would I?! Soooooooo they rescheduled me an appointment for March 1st. Until then I am stuck with a modem that keeps resetting itself whenever it sees fit.....basically kicking me offline if I am able to even get online at all!!!
    So help me if they don't show up I will personally give them a suppository using my computer!!!!

    Ugh.. sounds EXACTLY like cox cable. Are they going to comp you for the period you haven't been able to use the net properly?

    I would like to say "of course", but they have promised to credit my account before and it has never happened. Don't get me wrong I absolutely love Road Runner when it's working but when there is a problem, it is an absolute nightmare!

    I have been going through a similar problem with Comcast for the past two months. The technicians keep telling me that they need to add another line to the pole outside because there are too many houses feeding off of the same line. They still haven't added the line. I've had six technicians out here since January. You would think it would be cheaper for them to just go and add the line rather than to pay all of these technicians they are sending out. They did credit my bill but it was for only $23. I guess I should be happy that they even gave me a credit but this has been going on for two months now. I hope they get everything straightened out for you soon.

    I too hate Time warner. A couple years ago they came out and disconnected our cable. They were supposed to disconnect our neighbors for not paying their bill. Instead they disconnected ours and it took them a week to get back out here and correct their mistake!!! They did credit me for the days we were without cable, but it sure sucked having no tv or interent all that time. You would think that since it was their mistake they would come right back out ASAP they did not give a rats hiney!!! I would have switched if there were any competitors around. Morons

    We have the same problem here. I could always get dsl throught the phone company but it is outrageous the price they want for it! It is almost $30 a month more than what I am paying for Road Runner. Grrrrrr pretty much it's darned if I do and darned if I don't.
    The more I think about it, the more it ticks me off. It sure doesn't help that I am pms'ing either.

    Well no wonder you haven't been online any! LMAO Hopefully they will get it all fixed for ya when (and if) they show up for your appointment. I would hate to see that tech have to have major surgery to remove your computer from his butt. The surgery would probably cost an arm and leg. He better hope he has good medical insurance!

    LOL You crack me up Actually everything seems to be working fine this morning*knock on wood* I'm still not cancelling that service call though.
    I have really been looking forward to the digital phone service......I just didn't realize that it would be such a pain in the butt for all the customers until it was all set up.
