Thread: Would you do this?

Well, after all these years I have finally decided to get help with the housework. I am again off my feet with my foot propped up and also at this time waiting to schedule rotator cuff surgery. I don't know how the rotator cuff mess could have happened unless from rolling the wheelchair myself.
Anyway now that I have someone coming tomorrow I want to clean up the house. Why do we feel this way, like we don't want anyone to see the mess?
Especially when it is for someone coming tomorrow to clean? I don't think I am unusual in this because I have heard other people are this way too. I am so happy to be able to have this help but at the same time I think it is going to be uncomfortable just sitting while someone else is doing my work. I also hope she doesn't need any help about what to do. I don't like telling people what to do (except my husband, I am good at that, LOL) Tell me this woman is going to understand when she comes and sees our mess and sees me just sitting looking fat and lazy. Thanks.
