Sometimes it is hard to let go of a memory, especially if you remind yourself of it everyday.

Hi. I know I've posted this before, but here goes:

Its really important to keep your computer clean. Additions to this list are, download and run several anti-spyware programs. Many are free.

    Programs to run Weekly

    1. Anti-Virus – Should be run daily, however, weekly, with real time scan should be sufficient. Detects and deletes viruses of all types in files located on user-predefined disks, in boot sectors and RAM.

    2. Ad-Aware – Scans your memory, registry, hard, removable and optical drives for known Data-mining, aggressive advertising, Parasites, Scumware, Keyloggers, selected traditional trojans, dialers, malware, browser hijackers, and tracking components.

    3. SpyBot - Detects and removes spyware of different kinds from your computer. Spyware silently tracks your surfing behavior to create a marketing profile of you that will be sold to advertisement companies.

    4. Disk Cleanup - You can use disk cleanup to free up space on your hard disk by removing temporary internet files, removing installed components and programs that you no longer use, and emptying the Recycle Bin.

    5. Scandisk – Searches for errors in allocation table and fixes bad sectors on drive.

    6. Defragment - Disk Defragmenter consolidates fragmented files and folders on your computer's hard disk so that each occupies a single, contiguous space on the volume. As a result, your system can gain access to your files and folders and save new ones more efficiently.

    7. PC Bug Doctor - PC Bug Doctor will fix hidden bugs and errors on your PC and restore lost performance and speed that is lost over time.

    8. PCPitstop – www.pcpitstop.com Automated tests will get your PC running faster, make it more stable, and identify security problems. The diagnostic tests don't change any settings on your system. The results will show you the details of your PC's operating status, and the advice will help both experts and novices to find and fix system problems.

    9. Download Windows updates from www.microsoft.com
