Thread: Might not be around for a while

Trying to cut back on my computer hours... I read that the average American spends a whopping 12.5 hours a week online... I spend that on a Saturday. Seriously, I'm online way to much, and it's not just doing online stuff, it's doing nothing. Like refreshing the boards every three seconds until there is a new post... which isn't very productive. I've been kind of frazzled too. Tied up with school work, which I try to multitask while playing a game of Canasta on Pogo. Got midterms coming up soon and have to study for those... I have a B in my health class. Possibility I'm pregnant... gosh I wish we'd just find out already. I'm only 2 days later, but I've been feeling a bit ugh, and we were kinda... naughty last month, but then again, could be stress since we're still reading negative. On top of all that, the shocking and disturbing realization just hit me- there's only something like 73 more shopping days until Christmas and I havn't even started my shopping. My anniversary is in a few weeks and I have yet to get Jaime's gift, his 18th birthday is next month, and I'm almost 19. My sister hasn't been home much, she's been staying with a friend a lot. I end up cleaning up after the dogs, feeding them every morning and night- get yelled at if I forget. I'm bombarded with homework. I think I'm getting grey hairs. My butt itches.....


... If I'm not around for a while, I'm either hiding under the covers from the world or I'm being sent to the funny farm.

Oh yeah... and even though I'm temporarily running away from the world... I gotta leave at 8:30 AM to go to my swim class in the *non* heated pool. Brrrrr......

At least come back to let us know the results of your pregnancy test...

it sounds like you are under a lot of stress, and I'm sure that is contributing to your lateness. Maybe it will be good for you to not be online so much, like you said, you have midterms coming up and I'm sure you want to do well on those. Of course we'll miss you but it doesn't mean that you won't ever come here, just not as much.. I'm sure you will still be able to get as much done esp if you are just refreshing the page. Good luck on your midterms and try to take some deep breaths and not stress so much.. and oh yeah, have fun in that non heated pool! {{{{hugs}}}}

I hope everything goes the way you want it...college is very tough, especially the first semester, so hang in there. You don't need a lecture about being "careful" but remember you SHOULD be.

Stress will make you "late" as well hun, going off to college and midterms is major stressful, I am on the computer 12++++ hours a week, mostily on here. I love my bbf family ((hugs)) You need to go and get a pregancy test because if you are you need to start eating healthy and getting prenatal care I just think that it is stress though ((I have been "late" on three occasions because of stress"

LOL I'm on here a lot too. Not as much as I used to be but still a lot. I know I average more than the 12.5 hours. LOL

Well... it didn't work. I told myself when I got home- no computer today... then I thought, better check my email. Then I figured just check the boards real quick... so instead of staying offline today, I just didn't post so people wouldn't know I cheated and came on the computer again. I'm so bad! Gonna take another test tomorrow morning and see if this one reads positive. Still no sign of Aunt Flo... not like I badly want her to visit... but I do want to know if I'm preggers before I go to the dentist Friday for more fillings and x-rays. I threw up halfway to school today in the bathroom at Target... then again I could be sick... my nose has been kinda wack lately. Maybe I'm just falling apart. *head rolls off and lands on the floor*

As a side note... as pathetic as it is, I have seen just about every episode of South Park at least 5 times... I've downloaded most of them, still have some coming, and I watch them whenever I'm on the computer. Like I said I'm bad at that multitasking stuff... I have word open on the top left half of my screen, typing an essay, Canasta running on the bottom portion so I can see my cards when it's my turn, and South Park running in the top right- which I'm watching right now as I type this (my windows media keeps the window on top). I don't even really watch it, I just kinda listen and look at it when there are good parts... LMAO, sadly I know when all those are. Oh, and sometimes I do four things at once when I try to do my vocab sentences, play Canasta, watch South Park, and do my PTC programs at the very top of my screen! Blah.
