Keep in mind that for every jury that makes a big monetary award, there is an attorney who will object and appeal. And appeal. And appeal until the money gets smaller and smaller. It starts out as a big award but by the end it isn't that big and the attorney who represents the poor injured person walks away with at least 40%. So the only ones who are getting rich are the attorneys. Not the injured person.

wow..i kinda wondered where the $$ went to. the one that burns my butt is the chick in the truck...i dunno bout anyone else, but there was never a time when my kids didna wear a seatbelt, or were in a car seat....i am avidly rabid bout that. i hate to see a kid suffer from adult idiocy. *L* specialy me own kids. one time my dad had my daughter on his lap while driving...**i was not in the car, i saw him pull up** i walked up to him and said" hey...my daughter would make a great airbag huh.." he asked me to explain..and i did in vivid gory detail..he never again drove with her on his lap. she was always in her carseat. yeah makes me wonder how i survived..*LOL* Goddess bless his soul. anyway......as for the atkins suer? there are warnings and reminder GALORE in the books.. he had just decided to do it HIS way..and it backfired.

oh..an here is one for ya.. i have seen plastic bags..varying brands n sizes, "do not allow children to play with bag..death may occur" or something similar.
yep..i'm gonna go shopping..when stuff put away.."here baby!! why don't you play with this nice tough plastic bag while i go take a bath?" NO!!

ok..an heres another one..on pressurized cans of cleansers n shaving cream..etc. it says "do not play with near fire or toss into fire" now.. someone somehwhere had to have done this and gotten nailed by shrapnel..whats worse? i ahve seen people do this..ME? i bugged out..told em they were dumb as a brick.. and well.. hopefully they can't procreate.

ROFL!!!!! Don't smoke them in California. And thats another thing. People who mix up their sentences so they don't make sense. I have seen people of supposed intelligence who make those goofy errors.

lol, how about on batteries(i've seen it on AAA and AA ones) there is a phone number to call if ingested. now you tell me how on earth if someone EATS one are we supposed to have the phone #? rofl!
