Question somebody ~SPLAIN this to me?

why in the HELL do the toy company's feel the need to use $15 bucks worth of wire to tie into the box a $5 dollar toy?
gimme a break i mean i know its for security but really do they lose so many toys to theft that its actually worth the money they spend tieing them in?

a quote from jack in as good as it gets "WHERE'S THE TRUST?"

LOL I know exactly what you mean! I get so frustated by the time you finally get the toy out its a miracle it isnt broken due to your frustation!! I find that nail clippers work the best for removing those buggers!

LOL, count me in on being one to get ticked off over those stupid wire ties. Have you encountered the toys that not only have the wire ties, but also have the bottom of the toys screwed in? First, you are having to untie the wires, then you can't get the damned thing out unless you can find a small screwdriver!! Ughhh......

I find it extremely annoying myself

While I was griping at Christmas my Hubby who works in retail said the real reason for all that is for shipping to keep it secure. Well, that explains it to a degree I guess, but I still think they get too carried away...lol.

dig this if you really wanna laugh

on christmas (mind you we have 4 little girls no older than 3) it took my brother in law and myself 5 hours,a screwdriver,a utility knife, and a pair of wire cutters just to open all the kids gifts.
and its a good thing im a carpenter and hes a mechanic because when we got them all open it took us another 3 hours to put them all together.
after all that i realized the reason why when i was a kid my mother never replaced any of the batteries.

if i gotta hear elmo do the chicken dance one more time hes gonna find him self in the oven with a mouth full of stove top!!!
