We were not told till we bought our place there was a HOA but noone went by it and we were to pay insurance payments on the lake but noone has seen where it was going or where they paid it. About a year ago we got everyone to sign to do away with the HOA and now we can do what we want on our own property i think it is stupid if you own your land you should be able to do what you want to on it not have someone tell you how to live or what you can do on your land
There comes a point in life when you realize who really matters,who never did, and who never will.

My mom just bought a place in Florida that has an association deal, she hates it and has lived there 3 weeks, they plan to sell as quickly as possible and move out, she was told she could not have a clothes line, or have grass in the rocks around her tree, now come on, that is just plain snooty lol sorry JMO.
Seems to me I have become not only a ford fanatic but a bbs fanatic too, your all contagious!!
I'm not a complete idiot, some parts are missing!
