On my monitor there is a button with an 'S'(for settings?) I pushed that and a window came up, then I scrolled down to the horseshoe with a line through it and clicked it.Originally posted by Mami2Cute

WOW!!!! I have had a funky color going on with my monitor, and never knew about that button....I was planning on getting a new monitor next week....OMG, the color is perfect now!!! Thanx so much!

Now I have to resist the temptation to hold a magnet up to my screen to see what'll happen.
I did the degauss thing for the heck of it. Ooo... pretty colors.

Don't put a magnet to your TV screen either.
Unless things have changed about 20 years ago my son put a magnet to our color tv and put a mark there on the tv screen. Luckly he did it more in the corner of the screen and not in the middle of the screen. But since then I won't let children play with magnets around tvs or computers.

well this post is about 3 years old lol and im not sure why it was bumped up but what happened was my daughter put a magnet against the computer screen and it made an annoying green splotch on the screen lol
