People who refer to themselves in Third Person
It drives me nuts when people refer to themselves in Third Person tense. Isn't it a sign of arrogance? People wanting to draw attention to themselves.

Yes it is highly annoying. I don't understand it. I've tried it out as a joke, and I always feel funny saying my name. It's just plain odd. No one I know does it, unless they are joking. And even then it gets old fast.

Hmm, let me try it since it's not something I normally think about.
Lyd doesn't care that some people (and I hope that this post isn't being directed at one of my BBS friends ) talk in the third person.
I'm the quiet one but sometimes I just can't help say something.
Dear Lord, please give me the strength to not slap an idiot today......Amen.

Jaybird is bothered tremendously by this. In fact, it's one of jaybird's biggest pet peeves. But then again, jaybird thinks maybe some people don't realize they do it. But then again, what does jaybird know?

Did you ever see the Seinfeld episode with "JIMMY", it was sooo funny!
Why not learn to enjoy the little things - there are so many of them.
