Pup Hit In Front Of My House

A semi driver TRIED to stop but couldnt (hard to stop 80,000 pounds going 55MPH) and hit this poor pup. Well the pup took off and the semi driver and another lady took off across a field after it, but they couldnt catch it. The lady got close enough to see that it was hurt, but she couldnt tell how bad... she didnt want to pick it up at the risk of doing more damage.

I have NO clue where the pup ended up at.... it was last seen heading across a soybean field.....

    Poor pup......

Oooooh, I hope that the puppy is o.k.!! My daughter's school crossing guard was hit by a car yesterday and I really wanna know how she is. DD is on a field trip though so I haven't picked her up yet and seen anyone to ask. Let us know if you see the pup again.

At least he stopped. I will tell you what happened to me one time. There was a puppy that someone had put out he was a stray and he was very skiddish, I kept trying to get him to come to me so I could see if he had a collar on or what. Well I looked out the door and he was in our yard so I opened the door to see about him and he ran to the road and then ran back to the yard he was back and forth so I went back in. I looked out the door again and he was back and forth but finally this car just ran right into him. I mean this car was going at least 45 in a 30mph zone and didn't even slow down. It broke my heart.
