Re: Whatever happened to........
TWO THING TROUBLE ME ABOUT THIS THREAD.
FIRST ;A TEACHER HITTING A STUDENT. THANK GOD IT
WASN'T MY CHILD. THERE WOULD BE HELL TO PAY.
I'M NOT SAYING MY CHILDREN ARE ANGELS. AS
SOMEONE POINTED OUT, NO ONE HAS PERFECT KIDS.
SECOND ; I WOULD ALSO BE TICKED IF I WENT
INTO MY CHILD CLASSROOM & SAW THE TEACHER OR
STUDENT TEACHER, ONLINE. EXCUSE ME BY
AREN'T YOU SUPPOSED TO BE THERE PAYING ATTENTION
TO THE CHILDREN ?? MAYBE THE CHILD IS ACTING OUT
TO GET SOMEONE'S ATTENTION.

I could comment further, but I have to handle another "situation" in this group. I am about ready to pull my hair out today. One more day as being a sub for this class. I probably won't agree to sub for this teacher again. Geez..... Some kids desperately need some raising!!!

He chose to throw a book at another student. The other student jumped him.... It wasn't because they had no supervision. It was because they have no raising.
1. Violence is not the answer to stopping violence. Would you teach your kids not to hit by hitting them ? Doubt it.
2. How do you know they have no raising ? That kids is an individual like you me and the guy down the street. His parents could talk to him and raise him "perfectly", but the fact is, he is still going to do what he wants to do. If that happens to be an innopropriate action, then deal with it like an adult, not on the same "bad" level as the child.
