I hate Mother's Day

The worst thing on Mother's Day is to be the mother of a dead child. Parents are not supposed to outlive their children. And to the person who emailed me and told me to "get over it;" the death of my son, I will never get over it. Sorry to go on like this but that really bothered me.

Can't think of anything worse that losing a child. The pain will get easier but the loss will always be there.

I am sorry for you loss, a child's death even though an adult child is not something you forget. I am sorry someone wrote that email to you, they have very little knowledge of the love between a mother and child.

I am so sorry to hear anyone could be so rude and selfish to say that to you or any parent that has suffered the pain you have in losing your dear son. This person obviously has their head up their arse so far they are too far removed from the world.
