Nah I kind of disagree with you. Michael designed some very beautiful, simple & easy for everyone to wear. I would wear some of his clothes. The problem he had was he didn't or couldn't provide the "WOW" factor the other 3 could. Bedazzling a gown doesn't make it a statement piece. Andy got the "WOW" by working his fabric instead.
Insanity is hereditary. You get it from your kids.

I still think that Gretchen made that really fugly outfit..the one that they said needed birks with it; and Michael made elegant clothes.

Michael was robbed!
Gretchen didn't deserve to be there in the first place. Her outfits are un-wearable.
If Michael would have sent down an outfit that was a different color than the other 2, he'd be in & Gretchen would've been the one crying.

I think that all of Michaels clothes were really pretty. So what if they were all the same color? That long dress Mondo made was really unwearable, the girl could hardly walk in it. And what about those headresses Andy made? They looked like something from outer space.

I think that all season long both Mondo and Andy made clothes that realy no-one in the right mind would wear. I never liked Gretchen but at least I saw people could wear her clothes and even Michael's clothes were wearable!!

At least Mondo & Andy have a vision & style.
Gretchen is just plain bland. I've never liked her since day one.
The judges thought that 2 out of the 3 designs that Michael made were beautiful, they couldn't say the same about Gretchen., Nina said she liked that leather jacket (or whatever it was) with the stupid diaper shorts and Heidi said she liked the romper, but that thing was hidious, whats with the little poop scoop back?
This season was horrible! If anything Mondo was the only one who was even close to being a good designer. At least in other seasons you'd have 3 or 4 really good designers, but this season, it was really just 1 & that is Mondo.

I agree with most of the other posts. I think Michael should have been in the final three...with Andy and Mondo. While many of Gretchen's clothes were wearable (not that hideous jacket with the diaper)...I didn't think her clothes were 'runway' clothes.
Michael's clothes were elegant and beautiful. And he had different looks in his collection, albeit many in the same color palette. He continued to 'wow' the judges throughout the season...even when the other designers had written him off. He was also sincerely happy for the other designers and was always encouraging. I wanted him to go to Fashion Week so badly.
However...I'm sure he probably did get to show his line. I read a couple months ago that it wasn't just the final three that showed a collection at Fashion Week (which was already filmed quite a while ago.) Because the producers didn't want it known who the final three were, many of the designers showed a collection during the event. Hopefully, someone will pick up Michael's line!
Never argue with an idiot. It will bring you down to his level and he’ll win because of experience.

many of the designers who were not in the final three are now really successful; after all Austin now makes designer wedding gowns. Malan Breton. He has shown twice at fashion week in Bryant Park. This year he also expanded in menswear.
Nick Verreos. Has had many television appearances, much like Santino. He is still an instructor at FIDM and appeared on an episode the Hills as Lauren Conrad's instructor. He has also appeared on Project Runway Canada, The CW's Crowned, SoapNet, and the Sears 2008 Holiday Campaign. He has designed two dresses worn at the 2008 Academy Awards.
And it really made me sick that Gretchen repeatedly threw Michael under the bus, said he could not sew, said the judges were crazy for picking his designs, and then cuddled up to him in the end. What a hypocrit she was.

THANK YOU!!! Mondo at least publically apologized for underestimating Michael. Gretchen was just as bad as Ivy for bad-mouthing him. How many times did she say that Michael has gone as far as he should?
At least...that's what we saw. I do try to keep in mind that our perceptions are based on the editing by the producers.

I agree Michael got robbed. I think the only thing Gretchen should be designing is doggie outfits, at least they would be able to use the poop scooper attachment. I hope that Michael's line did get shown and someone with half a brain puts his clothes in stores - he would sell a hell of a lot more clothes than Gretchen, Mondo and Andy. I could not stand Gretchen from the start of the show. That woman is so pious it is just crazy. If she put her snoot any higher in the air she would drown in a rain storm.
Can't wait to see the finale!!
