Toy Story 3
We had an employee screening this past Saturday and we took two of our grandchildren. We all loved it!!! Truly!! And I'm not just saying that because I work for Disney.
I had read a couple of reviews that said it was 'okay'...but I thought it was brilliant! It was a perfect ending to the trilogy. I also thought it really kept to the theme of all the movies which was that toys come alive when they aren't around children and that they are happiest when they are played with.
If you are fond of these characters...then be prepared and bring kleenex!! I was sobbing at the end and my 10 year-old grandson, T.J., kept looking at me and asking me if I was all right! It isn't a sad ending...it is a perfect ending. But, it was an emotional ending.
Thank goodness for the credits which have more 'scenes' which made me laugh!

I'd go see it no matter what the reviews were.lol. I can't wait. I love Toy Story! I watched the first one last night, and will probably watch "2" tonight.
Then I'll see it in the theatre this weekend.
Is it only shown in 3D??

Nope...it isn't only in 3-D...and honestly, I see no reason why it is in 3-D except that it is the latest 'gimmick' for movies lately. Totally unnecessary to enjoy the movie. I had some friends who did see it in 3-D and they found it distracting. So, I recommend that you spend less money and see it in 2-D.

Thanks. I don't like 3D. Bothers my eyes.

I took my son to see it on Saturday, and yep, I'm a big wuss, I cried!

I didn't cry, but I was very sad at the end. My daughter says do you think there is going to be another one? There really could be with the way they left it off, but I doubt it.

I haven't seen it yet... but I did read in more than one magazine that they are already in talks about the fourth one... so I wouldn't count them out yet!`

My kids are going to see it Thursday. Thanks for telling it is not worth paying to see it in 3-D.

Just spoke to a friend who saw it in 3-D and LOVED it! So, if you are a 3-D fan, then you might like it. I do know that young children don't do well with 3-D.
