yes, Drea De Matteo is leaving this season, she was only supposed to be on one season, and she wants to get back to her children. I heard on tv the other day that the child that is supposed to be fraught with problems is Lynettes unborn child. She is supposed to go into labor with the new killer guy living with them.

Rumors floated earlier this week that the 'Beverly Hills 90210' star might be joining the cast of 'Desperate Housewives,' and, after a meeting with 'DH' creator Marc Cherry last week, Green is definitely going to be the newest neighbor on Wisteria Lane next season, according to Deadline Hollywood.
Well, actually, one of the newest neighbors; 'Ugly Betty' star Vanessa Williams is also joining 'Desperate Housewives' for its seventh season, which will premiere on ABC on Sept. 26.

As for Green's character, he's playing a contractor named Keith, who does some work in the 'hood, and gets involved with (at least) one of the 'Housewives.'
