    The new Bachelor Picked...

ABC often recycles women who were rejected by "The Bachelor" to star in the female-driven version of the dating show, "The Bachelorette." Now, the network has done the reverse.

Jason Mesnick, who started to get down on his knee to propose to "Bachelorette" DeAnna Pappas before she rejected him for pro snowboarder Jesse Csincsak, has been selected as the new "Bachelor," the network announced Wednesday. He will date and choose from among 25 women on the new season, which will begin in January 2009.

Mesnick, 32, a Seattle-area account executive specializing in estate and legacy planning, was notable on "The Bachelorette" for being the rare contestant who is also a parent. He often spoke on the show of his young son, Ty, and introduced Pappas to the boy.

Be who you are and say what you feel, those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.

I like him too! But I am just started to get discouraged by the show... it's obvious the premise doesn't work, they are always broken up before the show even airs.

I've been a good sport for years now but I guess I'm just starting to get disallusioned by it? I'll watch anyway though, like I always do!
