That happened to us, too. We kept getting interrupted so we never caught up to the end. Even though I like DC, I told my sister that it would be better if he didn't win so he could keep some creative control on his music. You saw what happened to Kelly when she tried to get more control of her music and decided to leave the label, Clive Davis tried to "destroy" her. That is the reason behind his demotion. He is just a figurehead now.

I wish DC all the luck, I think he will go places.

But David Cook just didn't seem to be giving it his all. She thinks David Cook threw it. She says he is so much better than he was last night. It kinda looked like that to me. What do ya'll think? Do ya'll think he decided to let the kid win for some reason?
She will have to fight my 25 yr old daughter over him. Of course, she wouldn't mind settling for Jason.

It was a really good show. I am glad I watched. DC with ZZtop was one of my favorite performances.

I was totally in love with George Michael when he went solo. I was really looking forward to seeing him perform last night. It has been so long since he has been in the public eye for his music and not his let's just say "embarressments". Njean31, I think you & I were thinking the same thing. I hope not. I couldn't decide if he was sick, or he aged and had some bad plastic surgery. Sometimes if stars would leave their face alone, and let nature go, they would look better. Over all though, I loved seeing him sing.

I was glad DC won, but am hoping he gets to have input on his album.

So glad David C. won. Was I the only one who hated the George Michael song?? It seemed like such a slow song to be the last song of such an upbeat night?

yeah we changed channels during GM song. I thought it was boring. I was going to re-watch some of the show this AM b/c I didn't see all of it but accidentally deleted it when cleaning out my DVR

I read online that GM ex partner died of AIDS and GM doesn't like to get HIV tested because he is afaird of the results. I personally think he looked like he had it. It was more than just aging.
