    Cloverfield

So Jamie and I went to see our first movie of '08, Cloverfield. I liked it; but I don't know if I'll ever buy it. The sad thing is we bought all this popcorn and candy to eat during and never touched it because we felt like vomiting.

    Anyone else see it?

I think I'll wait for the DVD.

How was the "shakey camera effect"? I hate that kind of filming (makes me nauseous), so I think this movie will bother me.

I can't wait to see how much $$$ it makes this weekend.

I don't even want to see it. I don't like their "advertising". We were watching TV and a commercial (some chick in a library talking) was on and all of a sudden, in the corner, there were words popping up saying "Can you read this?" "I'm alive." "Please send help." and I was like what in the world? That's kind of weird. Then another commercial came on and all of a sudden the commercial was all staticky and the picture was wavy, and then there's some guy's face up close (like the Blair Witch Project, with the snot dripping) and he's talking about how he's okay but needs help, and it keeps cutting out and going back to the commercial and then back to the guy.

Finally figured out it was Cloverfield ad (because it ended up showing scenes from the movie) but that was really creepy and weird.

I became interested in watching when the trailer aired before watching Transformers. You'll either like it or hate it. There are some small minor things have a problem with but it was well done all the same. It's typical Abrams....you learn nothing.

Well, that's where MOST of the vomiting feeling came from for me, but not ALL of it. I hate scary movies and there was a lot of tension in this movie and it just had my stomach in knots! lol

I want to see this movie, I love scary movies, I don't know if the camera shaking would bother me or not... guess I'll find out.

I haven't seen it myself, but I hear that Cloverfield was really, really bad. Bad plot, bad ending...
