I'm going with my hubby over the weekend to see it again. I did see on the news that the guys who play the Weasley twins will be in town all this week for a meet and greet. It's going to be a madhouse! I'm not a ppl person, so a few drinks will help deal with an unruly crowd. LOL
I'm jealous! LOL I can't imagine being able to buy drinks at a theater here. I suppose somewhere in this country there's one, but nowhere locally. Going to try and hit the matinee on Sunday with dh and my two oldest kids. We're going to buy tickets Friday night if it's not already sold out. Went to purchase them online, but didn't want to pay the extra money. LOL

We have a threatre here that serves hard drinks. It's balcony only but they have a bar up there and special seating. Mostly couples use it for an anniversary or special occasions for people, like a date.

The movie was ok. I think it's going to be hard at times to follow the movie if you haven't read the book. There are certain scenes and characters that won't make much sense unless you read the book. I think the girl that plays Luna Lovegood did a great job! She's such a cute girl. The Weasley twins had an incredible scene too. The lady that plays Umbridge was a hoot too...lots of pink and lots of cats. LOL

Considering the book was 800 something pages, they did an ok job of condensing that down. But I still like the books so much better.

    Anyone else seen it yet?

Bonham Carter announces pregnancy Thu Aug 9, 4:22 PM ET

NEW YORK - Helena Bonham Carter is pregnant again. The 41-year-old actress and her partner, Tim Burton, are expecting their second child together, her publicist, Karon Maskill, said Thursday. No other details were provided. The couple have a 3-year-old son, Billy Raymond.

Bonham Carter stars as evil witch Bellatrix Lestrange in "Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix," the fifth film adapted from J.K. Rowling's wizarding saga.

She and Burton met during the filming of 2001's "Planet of the Apes." She has also worked with the 48-year-old director in "Big Fish," "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory," the animated "Corpse Bride" and the upcoming "Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street," co-starring Johnny Depp.

Burton has also directed "Edward Scissorhands," "Ed Wood" and "Beetle Juice."

I wonder how they will film around her pregnancy for the next film ?

I don't know of anywhere around here that has IMAX. I've never seen a movie at an IMAX theater.

I never got into Harry Potter and I really don't understand all the hype behind it. How many people read this book because someone told them they should. How many people would read a REAL classic if someone told them they should (like your 8th grade english teacher!!)

I didn't start reading them "because someone told me I should" I started reading them out of curiosity around the time the third book was released. I loved them and got hooked, not because I was told I should like them but because I was genuinely entertained by them. And yes I have read many older classics, again from want, not because I was told to. What the hell do you have against people enjoying a book.
