Lost unanswered questions thread

Ok so lost is full of questions that the writers seem to have started and left hanging in the air. Thought it might be fun to put some of yours here.

If they have been there 80 days and Sun is pregnant why is she not showing yet?

What was the monster that ate the pilot on the plane?

What/where is the smoke monster that Lock saw and killed Mr. Eco?

If the island healed Lock why didn't it heal Ben?

What about the polar bear? Or did the leave when Michael left?

I cannot think of any q's right now, but I don't believe Sun has been preggers the whole time, I am guessing she isn't quite three months yet, which in that case prob wouldn't be showing. that is just my guess

Can you believe Lock blew up the submarine? I guess here's a questions... why the hell did he do that?!?! If he chose to, he wouldn't have to leave the island, but why not give others that chance?

Lock is a man in his own world I think. Remember he "saw the island secrets" in the smoke monster. What the heck is that.....


The q. about Sun is that the writers put doubt about who the father is Jin or the guy she was having an affair with right before they left on the plane. Guess I was assuming since she is so skinny you would see a bump or something, or they would at least address it, they haven't talked about it since she found out.

I know! I keep waiting for them to say something about it or have her showing or getting sick just something... but nothing. I hate when they do that.. and look now they are bringing up people we've never seen before who have apparently been there the whole time.

Did the "others" cause or know the plane was gonna crash? If they didnt how did they know about Lockes dad?
If they did cause the plane crash how did they do it?

Why, was it just to get new people to test on?

Did they show just start out as an experimental thing with animals and people watching them from a hatch? Why did they deviate from that and go towards this womans things and babys now?
I think the writers dont know what to keep writing aboutso they are stretching it to try and keep a story line....

Okay here is my thought on jin pregnancy. It is driving my dh nuts that she is not showing either. I don't think she has been preggo the whole time they are there. (he forgets they have only been there days, not the months the show has been on ) So she could only be 2months along.
Also i keep wondering what the "other" are planning with Julia invading the beach. What are they trying to gain, unless they are hoping to see if anyone is pregnant over there. And what is locke up to staying with the others. What is Ben going to use him for? There are many questions, and hopefully they will get answered, but i'm guessing not till next season

I am guessing that Lock is pretty happy to join the others. He has seem to make rash/slefish decisions since the beginning. Plus if the joins the others he won't have to leave and possibly not be able to walk again.

Good Q. about Julia, She is a sneaky one. Since the sub is now gone can she ever leave? What good would it do her to be a spy. maybe now that she is there and we know she has expertece in pregnancy and messed w/ Clair maybe now Jin's pregnancy will start coming into play.

actually b/c of their "little break" i hear their ratings have gone down and they haven't recovered yet. i hate when shows do that. But I agree w/ your hubby, I want some damn answers I'm getting kind of bored.. hell I haven't even watched last weeks episode and don't really have a desire right now to do it.

Well I look ahead to next week and part of the info say "Jin finds out the father of her baby when Julia examens her"

You are supposed to get clues in their flashbacks. But i don't remember seeing her in any>
