Obama Names Hamas Sympathizer as New ISIS Czar
By Debra Heine December 3, 2015

President Obama has appointed a foreign policy advisor known to be a friend of the terrorist group Hamas to be the administration’s new czar in charge of countering ISIS. http://www.nbcnews.com/storyline/isi...l-pick-n471921 The appointee, Robert Malley, has a history of sympathizing with Islamists, which makes the appointment all the more appalling. http://www.discoverthenetworks.org/i...asp?indid=2310

According to the government watchdog group Judicial Watch http://www.judicialwatch.org/blog/20...medium=twitter the White House downplayed the controversial appointment by "burying it deep in a press briefing delivered at a Paris hotel during the recent climate summit." https://www.whitehouse.gov/the-press...ional-security

The President recently elevated Rob Malley, the NSC [National Security Council] Coordinator for the Middle East and North Africa, to serve now as the Senior Advisor to the President for the Counter-ISIL Campaign in Iraq and Syria,” White House Press Secretary Josh Earnest said during the briefing at the Marriott Rive Gauche Hotel and Conference Center. Before moving onto the next topic Earnest said the president has directed Malley to “support our reinvigorated diplomatic track toward a political transition in Syria…
Obama raised eyebrows last year when he made Malley the senior director at the National Security Council http://www.jta.org/2015/03/08/news-o...st-desk-at-nsc but according to the Arabic-language newspaper Al-Hayat, he never really left Obama’s circle. http://joshuapundit.blogspot.com/201...ly-to-key.html

Al-Hayat reported that Hamas engaged in talks with Obama for months through Malley, which among other things resulted in their receiving almost a billion of your tax dollars from President Obama.

Robert Malley comes by this honestly. His father Simon was a very Marxist journalist who shilled for Algeria's terrorist FLN, Egyptian dictator Gamel Abdul Nasser, African Marxist dictators like Kwame Nkrumah and Ahmed Sékou Touré, Fidel Castro, and of course, Yasser Arafat, of whom he was especially fond. Needless to say, Simon Malley also had an outspoken hatred towards Israel, and the apple definitely did not fall far from the tree.
Indeed, as Judicial Watch reports, "Malley published a piece in a mainstream newspaper declaring that Israel was responsible for the failure of Bill Clinton’s peace talks with the Palestinians."

Malley was Obama's informal foreign policy adviser during the 2008 presidential campaign until his cozy relationship with Hamas, long classified as a terrorist organization by the U.S. State Department, came to light. Israeli security officials had expressed “concern” about Malley for advocating negotiations with Hamas and providing international assistance to the terrorist group. https://nicedeb.wordpress.com/2008/0...urch-bulletin/ This came amid reportage that Trinity United Church of Christ, Obama's radical church in Chicago, had reprinted a manifesto by Hamas in its newsletter. The manifesto defended terrorism as legitimate resistance, refused to recognize the right of Israel to exist, and compared the terror group’s official charter – which calls for the murder of Jews – to America’s Declaration of Independence.

Fearful of losing Jewish voters, Obama severed ties with Malley in May of 2008 when it was disclosed that he had held meetings with Hamas. The campaign had been telling pro-Israel audiences that Obama would not talk with Hamas unless and until it had renounced terror, recognized Israel, and abided by previous agreements the Palestinians had signed with Israel.

One day after the election, it was reported that Malley had been dispatched to the Middle East to work on Obama's promise to "improve ties with Egypt and Syria." http://www.menewsline.com/article-19...Ties-With.aspx

That all worked out so well, he's been promoted to Obama's ISIS czar.

ISIS Czar a Terrorist Sympathizer Once Fired by Obama for Hamas Ties
    DECEMBER 02, 2015

A radical foreign policy adviser fired by President Obama years ago for meeting with the Palestinian terrorist group Hamas is back as the administration’s new czar in charge of countering the Islamic State of Iraq and Greater Syria (ISIS).

The White House downplayed the new appointment by burying it deep in a press briefing delivered at a Paris hotel during the recent climate summit. “The President recently elevated Rob Malley, the NSC [National Security Council] Coordinator for the Middle East and North Africa, to serve now as the Senior Advisor to the President for the Counter-ISIL Campaign in Iraq and Syria,” White House Press Secretary Josh Earnest said during the briefing at the Marriott Rive Gauche Hotel and Conference Center. Before moving onto the next topic Earnest said the president has directed Malley to “support our reinvigorated diplomatic track toward a political transition in Syria…”

Malley has a well-documented history of sympathizing with extremists, which makes this appointment rather outrageous. Judicial Watch wrote about Malley last year when Obama made him the senior director at the NSC even though the president had dumped him as a foreign policy adviser for meeting with and having regular contact with Hamas, long classified a terrorist organization by the U.S. State Department. Malley’s family had close ties to Yasser Arafat, founder of the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) and the Fatah movement, and Malley was an adviser in Bill Clinton’s White House. He consistently exonerates Palestinians and condemns Israel.

Over the years he has published a number of newspaper opinion pieces urging the United States to reach out and negotiate with terrorist enemies like Hamas, Hezbollah and Muqtada al-Sadr. A website that documents the networks and agendas of the political left offers details about Malley’s scary past and provides links to the egregious articles he’s published, including several co-written with Hussein Agha, a former adviser to Arafat. In 2007 Malley published an op-ed piece in a mainstream newspaper expressing strong support for Syrian President Bashar al-Assad, a murderous tyrant who has been credited with helping ISIS rise.

Malley grew up in France and his Egyptian-born father was a key figure in Egypt’s communist party and a close friend of Arafat’s. His parents were fervently anti-Israel and huge supporters of several leftist revolutionary liberation movements, especially the Palestinian cause. Malley published a piece in a mainstream newspaper declaring that Israel was responsible for the failure of Bill Clinton’s peace talks with the Palestinians. Malley attended the 2000 event, which was held at Camp David because it was the site of the landmark 1978 Israeli-Egyptian peace accords.

Shortly after Obama got elected president Israel’s largest news site revealed that the Arabic-language newspaper Al-Hayat reported that Hamas engaged in talks with Obama for months through his “fired” adviser. The article quotes Ahmad Yousuf, Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh’s political advisor, saying this: “We were in contact with a number of Obama’s aides through the Internet, and later met with some of them in Gaza, but they advised us not to come out with any statements, as they may have a negative effect on his election campaign and be used by Republican candidate John McCain (to attack Obama).”

How can Americans possibly confide in Malley to help dismantle what is arguably the world’s deadliest and most brazen terrorist group? A Florida-based Jewish weekly helps answer this, albeit with another question: “With a history of dissing Israel, snuggling up to Hamas, shielding Assad, and promoting the containment of a nuclear-armed Iran, is it any surprise that Malley is Obama’s choice to spearhead the U.S. response to ISIS?”

FBI: San Bernardino shooting was act of terrorism
    By KTAR.com | December 4, 2015

The Federal Bureau of Investigation officially termed this week’s shooting in San Bernardino, California an act of terrorism on Friday.

“We are now investigating these horrific acts as an act of terrorism,” FBI Assistant Director David Bowdich said during a press conference.

The suspects, identified as Syed Rizwan Farook, 28, and Tashfeen Malik, 27, were killed by police after a shooting in San Bernardino at the Inland Regional Center, a facility that works with the developmentally disabled. They are the only suspects in the case. They are not believed to be attached to a terror group, cell or network.

Neither suspect was on any agency’s radar prior to the shooting, San Bernardino Police Chief Jarrod Burguan said. Malik was later reported to have expressed her allegiance to an Islamic State leader on social media under a different name in a since-deleted post.

Farook’s family attorneys said he was not involved with any terrorist group nor held extremist views. They also said he had no real friends and that his coworkers often mocked him because of his beard and religion.

The suspects allegedly first opened fire at the center during a holiday-themed luncheon. Burguan said the suspects fired 65-75 rounds before fleeing the area.

Burguan said officers were tipped off that the suspects may have been hiding in a home after the shooting. When a vehicle was seen leaving the home, officers began pursuit.

The pursuit culminated in a shootout with police, during which both suspects were killed. Both were wearing “assault-style clothing” and were armed with rifles and handguns.

On Thursday, police released the named of the 14 people who were killed in the shooting.

The victims on the list, which can be seen in full below, range from 26 to 60 years old. Many lived in surrounding communities and were attending a holiday-themed luncheon.

    The victims are as follows:

Shannon Johnson, 45, of Los Angeles
    Bennetta Bet-Badal, 46, of Rialto
Aurora Godoy, 26, of San Jacinto
    Isaac Amanios, 60, of Fontana
    Larry Kaufman, 42, of Rialto
    Harry Bowman, 46, of Upland
    Yvette Velasco, 27, of Fontana
Sierra Clayborn, 27, of Moreno Valley
    Robert Adams, 40, of Yucaipa
    Nicholas Thalasinos, 52, of Colton
Tin Nguyen, 31, of Santa Ana
    Juan Espinoza, 50, of Highland
    Damian Meins, 58, of Riverside
Michael Wetzel, 37, of Lake Arrowhead
Earlier Thursday, police said the home of two suspect killed after the mass shooting on Wednesday was full of pipe bombs and ammunition.

Burguan said authorities found three rigged-together pipe bombs with a remote-control detonating device that apparently malfunctioned, 12 other pipe bombs 2,000 9mm rounds, 2,500 .223-caliber rounds and hundreds of long rifle rounds in the rented home. Hundreds of tools that could be used to make improvised explosive devices were also found.

Federal authorities said that the two assault rifles and two handguns used in the San Bernardino massacre that left 14 dead and 21 others injured were all purchased legally in the United States — two of them by someone who’s now under investigation.

The FBI said the two suspects were married. They had a 6-month-old daughter, whom they left with relatives, saying they had a doctor’s appointment. They arrived in the United States in June 2014.

Farook, a U.S. citizen, was a county health department worker who attended a holiday party at the center in the morning. Police said he left the party early, seemingly upset, and later returned and opened fire.

At a press conference held by the Los Angeles chapter of the Council of American-Islamic Relations, Farook’s brother-in-law Farhad Khan said he was deeply saddened and shocked to hear what had happened.

“I have no idea why he would do that, why he would do something like this,” he said.

A police officer was injured in the gunfight, but is expected to fully recover.

The director of the CAIR-LA office Hussam Ayloush said the organization “unequivocally condemns” Wednesday’s shooting.

“We stand in solidarity with fellow Americans as we offer our heartfelt prayers and condolences to the injured and the families of those who have been killed,” he said during a press conference. “We stand in solidarity in repudiating any possible ideology or mindset that led to this horrific act.”

“These were people who came prepared,” Burguan said of the suspects.

At least one explosive device was found in the facility, Burguan said. The device consisted of three connected pipe bombs with a remote control that apparently did not work.

Terry Pettit told ABC 7 his daughter was inside when the shooting started. He said his daughter texted him to let him know someone had opened fire inside and she was locked inside an office with other workers.

Marybeth Feild of the Inland Regional Center said “the incident is in the conference area” that an outside group was renting Wednesday. She said she is not at the center, which serves people with developmental disabilities and does not know what outside group rented the center.

News helicopter footage showed people leaving the facility with their hands up.

Several triage sites were set up around the facility.

At least 18 ambulances were seen leaving the scene. Victims were taken to the Arrowhead Regional Medical Center and Loma Linda Medical University Medical Center. The latter was reportedly going to a “disaster-type” response to deal with the volume of victims.

One victim treated at the Arrowhead center had bullet fragments removed from his body, according to a police scanner.

The San Bernardino Fire Department said in a tweet all critical patients were treated within 15 minutes, praising the assisting agencies for all their help.

President Barack Obama was brought up to date on the shooting. The White House said he was briefed by his homeland security adviser, Lisa Monaco, and has asked to be kept informed as the situation develops.

Anyone with information on the shooting is asked to contact the San Bernardino County Sheriff Department’s tip line at 800-78-CRIME.

Wife in San Bernardino attack pledged allegiance to Islamic State
    December 04, 2015

SAN BERNARDINO - A U.S. law enforcement official says the wife of the couple blamed in the deadly California shootings pledged allegiance to the Islamic State group and the terror group's leader on Facebook using an alias then deleted the messages before the attacks.

Specific details about Tashfeen Malik's postings weren't disclosed Friday by the law enforcement official, who spoke on condition of anonymity because this person was not allowed to discuss an ongoing investigation.

The remarkable disclosure about Malik's online activities provided the first significant details suggesting a motive for her participation with her husband, Syed Farook, in the shootings that killed 14 people and injured 21.

Malik was a Pakistani woman who came to the U.S. in 2014 on a fiancee visa before Farook married her in California.

During the Iranian hostage crisis, Carter issued a number of orders to put pressure on Iran. Among these, Iranians were banned from entering the United States unless they oppose the Shiite Islamist regime or had a medical emergency.

Here's Jimmy "Hitler" Carter saying it back in 1980.

Fourth, the Secretary of Treasury [State] and the Attorney General will invalidate all visas issued to Iranian citizens for future entry into the United States, effective today. We will not reissue visas, nor will we issue new visas, except for compelling and proven humanitarian reasons or where the national interest of our own country requires. This directive will be interpreted very strictly.

Apparently barring people from a terrorist country is not against "our values" after all. It may even be "who we are". Either that or Carter was thinking like Trump.

Meanwhile here's how the Iranian students in the US were treated.

Carter orders 50,000 Iranian students in US to report to immigration office with view to deporting those in violation of their visas. On 27 December 1979, US appeals court allows deportation of Iranian students found in violation.

In November 1979, the Attorney General had given all Iranian students one month to report to the local immigration office. Around 7,000 were found in violation of their visas. Around 15,000 Iranians were forced to leave the US.

Meanwhile any Iranians entering the US were forced to undergo secondary screening.

Interestingly enough, Carter did this by invoking the Nationality Act of 1952. A law originally opposed by Democrats for its attempt to restrict Communist immigration to the United States.

“If this oasis of the world should be overrun, perverted, contaminated, or destroyed, then the last flickering light of humanity will be extinguished,” Senator McCarran said of the law. He was a Democrat.

Now unlike Muslims, Iranians were not necessarily supportive of Islamic terrorism. Many were and are opponents of it. Khomeini didn't represent Iran as a country, but his Islamist allies. So Trump's proposal is far more legitimate than Carter's action. Carter targeted people by nationality. Trump's proposal does so by ideology.

    Just my two cents.....

So, you Dont Like what Trump said? Read this.

Islam, by law, is prohibited from US immigration...

The Immigration and Nationality Act passed June 27, 1952 revised the laws relating to immigration, naturalization, and nationality for the United States.

That act, which became Public Law 414, established both the law and the intent of Congress regarding the immigration of Aliens to the US and remains in effect today.

Among the many issues it covers, one in particular, found in Chapter 2 Section 212, is the prohibition of entry to the US if the Alien belongs to an organization seeking to overthrow the government of the United States by "force, violence, or other unconstitutional means." This, by its very definition, rules out Islamic immigration to the United States, but this law is being ignored by the White House.

The laws prohibits entry of "Aliens who the consular officer or the Attorney General knows or has reason to believe seek to enter the United States solely, principally, or incidentally to engage in activities which would be prejudicial to the public interest, or endanger the welfare, safety, or security of the United States." It also prohibits the entry of Aliens who are members of or affiliated with any organization that advocates or teaches, the overthrow by force, violence, or other unconstitutional means of the US or of all forms of law, and Aliens who publish, circulate and distribute materials teaching or advocating the overthrow by force, violence or other unconstitutional means of the US Government or of all forms of law.

Islamic immigration to the US would be prohibited under this law because the Koran, Sharia Law and the Hadith all require complete submission to Islam, which is antithetical to the US government, the Constitution, and to the Republic. All Muslims who attest that the Koran is their life's guiding principal subscribe to submission to Islam and its form of government.

Now the political correct crowd would say that Islamists cannot be prohibited from entering the US because Islam is a religion. Whether it is a religion is immaterial because the law states that Aliens who are affiliated with any "organization" that advocates the overthrow of our government are prohibited. It also prohibits those who distribute literature that advocates the overthrow of our country, which would include the Koran.

In fact, there are many verses in the Koran that command Islamists to kill those who do not submit to allah and the prophet.

If Congress so desired to hold the White House accountable to the current immigration of refugees (which also must comply with the law), it has the Immigration and Nationality Act to cite.

    - Dr. Jim Garrow -

‘Incursion’: Baghdad demands Turkey withdraw ‘training’ troops from northern Iraq

The Iraqi government has demanded that Ankara withdraw the more than 100 Turkish forces that entered Iraq with tanks and artillery for alleged “training” of troops near Islamic State-occupied Mosul. Baghdad stressed the unsanctioned move was a breach of its sovereignty.

READ MORE: Kurds & US Special Forces should be used to seal Turkish-Syrian border – Russian FM

“The Iraqi authorities call on Turkey to respect good neighbourly relations and to withdraw immediately from the Iraqi territory,” the statement said, stressing that the Turkish troops entered “without the request or authorization from the Iraqi federal authorities,” which is a “serious breach of Iraqi sovereignty.”

The foreign ministry called Turkey’s move “an incursion,” Reuters reported.

READ MORE: ‘Everyone knows what’s going on’: Istanbul residents on Turkey-ISIS oil trade

According to the agency’s source, the US-led anti-Islamic State coalition was aware of the Turkey's move.

“Turkish soldiers have reached the Mosul Bashiqa region. They are there as part of routine training exercises. One battalion has crossed into the region,” the source told Reuters without revealing the exact number of troops.

He added that the Turkish forces are “training Iraqi troops.”
However, according to two US defense officials quoted by Reuters, Turkey’s deployment is not part of the efforts of the US-led coalition battling Islamic State (IS, formerly ISIS/ISIL).

On Friday, 130 Turkish soldiers equipped with heavy weapons were deployed at a military base on the outskirts of the city of Mosul, which is currently held by IS, according to the Daily Sabah newspaper.

READ MORE: Turkey skeptical about US proposal to close border ‘under ISIS control’

According to Cumhuriyet newspaper, the number of the deployed Turkish troops amounts to at least 150.

The town of Bashiqa is located about 10 kilometers northeast of Mosul.

Mosul, Iraq’s second biggest city, was seized by Islamic State in June 2014 and has been fully governed by militants ever since. Moreover, the extremist group captured large stockpiles of weapons and ammunition that were stored in the city.

“In the collapse of Mosul, we lost a lot of weapons,” Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi said in an interview with Iraqiya state TV in June. “We lost 2,300 Humvees in Mosul alone,” he added.

The Turkish intrusion into Iraq comes shortly after Ankara’s motives in the war on Islamic State have been questioned by Moscow, Tehran, as well as by Baghdad.

The Russian government has been particularly vocal in pointing the finger at the illegal oil trade between IS terrorists and the Turks. Moscow-Ankara relations deteriorated after a Turkish F-16 jet downed a Russian Su-24 bomber on the Syrian-Turkish border for an alleged airspace violation on November 24, while the Russian jet was returning from an anti-terrorist mission. In the days after, the Russian Defense Ministry presented detailed photo and video evidence showing three huge “live pipelines” made of oil trucks effortlessly crossing the Syrian border into Turkey in militant-controlled areas.

Russian President Vladimir Putin described Turkey’s move as “a stab in the back by accomplices of the terrorists,” while the Defense Ministry directly tied the illegal Syrian and Iraqi oil trade – a chief lifeline for IS terrorists – to the family of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

READ MORE: Russia says Turkey’s Erdogan & family involved in illegal ISIS oil trade

Erdogan has dismissed the accusations as “slander” and continued to defiantly present the downing of a non-hostile jet as a rightful move aimed at defending the Turkish border. The surviving Russian pilot has insisted the crew was in full control of the course of the flight and had never entered Turkey, while adding they had never received any visual or radio warning from the F-16. One Russian pilot, the commander of the jet, was killed by Turkmen rebel fire while parachuting from the plane, and one Russian Marine was killed during the search and recovery operation.

Meanwhile, as the US has stepped in for Turkey, supporting its refutation of Russia’s IS oil claims, other powers have come forward to back Moscow’s charges concerning Ankara’s trade with the terrorists. On Friday, Tehran said that it has collected photo and video evidence of IS oil entering Turkey by truck.

“If the government of Turkey is not informed of Daesh [derogatory term for IS] oil trade in the country, we are ready to put the information at its disposal,” Iran’s official Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA) quoted Expediency Council Secretary, Mohsen Rezaie, as saying. The official added that they are also ready to present the proof to the public.
While officially Baghdad is now considering whether there is enough evidence of Turkey’s involvement in oil trade with IS to file a formal protest at the UN Security Council, an Iraqi Defense Ministry spokesman, Naseer Nuri, told Sputnik on Wednesday that “general information about the smuggling of Iraqi oil by trucks to certain countries, including Turkey” is already available to them, and “this oil is used to fund Daesh.”

Other Iraqi officials have openly accused Turkey of knowingly trading with the terrorists.

There is “no shadow of a doubt” that Ankara knows about the oil smuggling operations, Iraqi MP and former national security adviser Mowaffak al Rubaie told RT.

“The merchants, the businessmen [are buying oil] in the black market in Turkey under the noses – under the auspices if you like – of the Turkish intelligence agency and the Turkish security apparatus… There are security officers who are sympathizing with ISIS in Turkey. They are allowing them to go from Istanbul to the borders and infiltrate ... Syria and Iraq,” he said.

Money and dollars generated by selling Iraqi and Syrian oil on the Turkish black market is like the oxygen supply to ISIS and it’s operation,” Rubaie added. “Once you cut the oxygen then ISIS will suffocate.

Obama Blames the Media for Failure of His ISIS Strategy

It’s always the messenger’s fault. When President Obama sat down with Steve Inskeep from NPR shortly before jetting off to Hawaii for his annual year-end luau, he gave both supporters and critics a lot to chew on heading into a new year in regards to everything from free speech on campus to the Republican primary field. http://www.npr.org/2015/12/21/460281...merican-values

But the main focus was on his continuing strategy, or rather, lack thereof, for combating domestic terror attacks. He took the occasion to once again blame the messengers in the media instead of the faulty strategy coming from his administration. When asked what the public might be missing about his strategy, given that a majority of them disapprove of it, Obama replied simply that news coverage hasn’t been very fair to him:
[quote]Well, I think what’s fair is that post-Paris you had a saturation of news about the horrible attack there. And ISIL combines viciousness with very savvy media operations. And as a consequence, if you’ve been watching television for the last month, all you have been seeing, all you have been hearing about is these guys with masks or black flags who are potentially coming to get you.[quote]

Obama then went on to make a familiar claim: His biggest fault in the war against Islamic jihadists is that he simply hasn’t done a good enough job of selling his strategy.
“We haven’t on a regular basis, I think, described all the work that we’ve been doing for more than a year now to defeat ISIL.”
This comes on the heels of a flap this past weekend over a report (in a paragraph that was subsequently deleted without explanation) in the New York Times that Obama claimed he just hadn’t watched enough cable news in the wake of the San Bernardino jihadist attacks to be able to understand the anxiety of the country over the possibility of more such attacks. http://www.washingtonexaminer.com/ny...rticle/2578712

Blaming such anxiety on faulty messaging and over-saturation of terror coverage by networks might be a more plausible assessment if there hadn’t been an actual pattern of recent attacks and attempts both at home and abroad, even as the president has written ISIS off as the junior-varsity team and has focused more on the fate of the polar bear. The Islamic State and its ideological affiliates are trying, and sometimes succeeding, to come get us, and Americans have noticed.

They have come to both Fort Hood and Garland in Texas. They have come to Chattanooga . They have come to Boston, and, of course, to San Bernardino. Federal authorities in recent months have arrested as many as ten men in Minneapolis alone on charges of supporting a foreign terror organization. http://www.mprnews.org/story/2015/12...es-man-charged

Attacks have come to cafés in Sydney and to theaters in Paris. They have come to the Canadian Parliament and aboard European trains.

In his NPR interview, Obama said that while these attacks and arrests are “legitimate news stories,” the intense news coverage isn’t a result of ISIS’s being a growing threat, but is the result of networks that are simply “pursuing ratings.” “I think that, you know, it’s up to the media to make a determination about how they want to cover things,” he said. Obama apparently believes the realm of propaganda and media are all that really matter.

His plan to counteract that coverage, as Politico reported, is to “add more theater” http://www.politico.com/story/2015/1...me-plan-216922 but make few policy adjustments in the wake of recent attacks. He apparently believes the realm of propaganda and media are all that really matter, and thinks that if his administration controls the message, then they can contain the problem and can hold the barbarians off just long enough for him to escape his second term mostly unscathed, despite having the lowest approval ratings of his presidency on his handling of terrorism.

“There will be more events like Obama’s visits to the Pentagon and the National Counterterrorism Center this week,” Politico reported, “meetings that would likely be happening anyway, but that will be deliberately pushed into public view, with the president making sure to speak more passionately himself.”

If blaming weak messaging rather than weak policy sounds like a familiar strategy from this president, it’s because it is. It’s the fall-back position the administration had in selling its unpopular health-care law to the public. Back in November 2014, Obama defended his floundering health-care law in an interview with Bob Schieffer on Face the Nation this way:

I think there are times, there’s no doubt about it, where I think we have not been successful in going out there and letting people know what it is that we’re trying to do and why this is the right direction. So there is a failure of politics that we have to improve on.
It’s never that the policy or legislation is faulty; it’s just that he hasn’t done enough to sell how good it is. We as a country somehow just don’t understand the true nature of the threat of domestic terrorism because he hasn’t explained all that he’s doing to prevent it.

This explanation might be somewhat more feasible if Obama’s campaign, aided by an overzealous media, hadn’t portrayed him as the greatest communicator of our time back in 2008. http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2008/1..._n_130760.html

As dramatic as our network and cable media can be, the idea that the threat of terrorism is growing is not an illusion created by news stories about scary men standing in the desert in black masks; it’s fueled by seeing images of a mini van shot to pieces on the streets of our suburbs.

The reason the public is concerned is because we see ISIS coming to civilian metropolitan areas, and we see a dangerously disconnected president — one who golfs and fills out NCAA brackets after beheading videos go viral, or admits he pays more attention to ESPN in the mornings than to news. And it was announced today that he would be appearing with Jerry Seinfeld in the upcoming episode of Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee. http://www.cbsnews.com/news/presiden...etting-coffee/

Barack Obama seems to think he’s like a student who’s failed to show his teacher the work on his algebra homework. But Americans aren’t interested in awarding him partial credit for trying; they want him to go back to the blackboard and figure out some solutions.

The president is correct that ISIS’s strategy has evolved. But he is dangerously mistaken by refusing to admit that his has not.

Obama’s “JV team” have been busy in Syria and have abducted roughly 900 Kurdish civilians in the last 3 weeks! Many of them have reportedly been executed. The religion of peace strikes again folks!

Didn’t Obama say that ISIS is contained? Doesn’t look that way to me.

FOX reports that Islamic State (ISIS) militants abducted about 900 Kurdish civilians in the northern Syrian province of Aleppo over the past three weeks, forcing the captives to build fortifications for the extremists in retaliation for a Kurdish-led assault on a nearby ISIS stronghold, activists said Friday.

Reports also emerged Friday that at least 26 of those abducted have been killed for refusing to follow ISIS orders.

The abductions come amid fierce fighting for control of Manbij — a key ISIS stronghold in this Syrian province — where the extremists are being routed from the town center by the predominantly Kurdish and U.S.-backed Syria Democratic Forces.

Some of the abducted Kurds have been pressganged into digging trenches and shelters for the IS, according to Kurdish media activist Rezan Hiddo, while others have been forced to wear IS uniforms and ordered to fight at the fronts.

On Friday, the mostly Kurdish SDF battled IS militants inside Manbij after having encircling the stronghold in a weeks-long offensive that has been backed by U.S.-coalition air strikes.

The Britain-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitoring group reported that coalition jets struck targets around the town. The SDF has lost 89 fighters since launching its campaign for Manbij on May 31, according to the Observatory. Also, 463 IS militants have been killed.

ABC reports that the Observatory and Darwish said some of those taken captive have been forced to dig trenches in IS-held areas while others are imprisoned in IS-run detention centers. Darwish said all captured males above the age of 12 were sent against their will to the front lines to help fortify IS positions.

The militants have killed 26 of the captives for resisting detention or refusing orders, according to Hiddo. His report could not be independently confirmed and the Islamic State group made no immediate claim over the abductions or the killings.

Many of the civilians are being held in an IS prison in Qabasin, Hiddo said. Those forced into labor are digging fortifications underneath homes in al-Bab.

“They (ISIS) are digging a city underneath the town to protect themselves from air strikes,” Hiddo added.

The IS has not engaged in any negotiations for the release of the Kurdish civilians, nor asked for any ransom, Hiddo said, speaking from the nearby Kurdish stronghold of Afrin.

These terrorists are ruthless. Hopefully our next President takes an aggressive approach to wiping the cockroaches off the face of the earth.
